Description Remote Our client seeks a Contract CRM Data Lead / Project Manager to lead the design and implementation of a new in-house CRM platform for an asset management organization serving institutional and wealth/intermediary channels. The contractor will drive the program while owning conceptual and logical CRM data architecture. The role requires translating complex business relationships into scalable data models, aligning stakeholders across Sales, Client Service, Compliance, Operations, and Technology, and delivering a fit-for-purpose CRM data model from the ground up rather than configuring an off-the-shelf product. We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance. Rate: $80.00 to $90.00/hr. w2 Responsibilities • Develop and manage the CRM implementation roadmap and project plan. • Lead requirements gathering across institutional, intermediary, wealth, operations, compliance, and technology teams. • Facilitate stakeholder alignment and drive cross-functional decision-making. • Manage project risks, dependencies, milestones, and communications. • Provide delivery oversight through implementation and launch. • Own the conceptual and logical CRM data model. • Design models supporting institutional and wealth/intermediary businesses. • Define entity, relationship, hierarchy, role, and ownership structures. • Establish data governance, data quality, and master data management principles. • Develop historical relationship tracking and role-based relationship management approaches. • Create integration strategies between CRM, portfolio accounting, billing, and related systems. • Lead CRM data migration planning and execution strategy. • Model institutional structures including clients, plan sponsors, consultants, OCIO providers, decision makers, mandates, products, legal entity hierarchies, accounts, vehicles, RFP/DDQ processes, and complex multi-role relationships. • Model wealth and intermediary structures including advisors, teams, broker-dealers, advisory firms, platforms, custodians, omnibus and model-delivery arrangements, asset and flow attribution, advisor mobility, and distribution coverage where end investors may be unknown. Experience Requirements • 10+ years leading CRM, client data, distribution, or customer master data initiatives. • Delivered CRM or client data platforms within asset management, investment managers, wealth management, institutional investment businesses, or related financial services. • Strong understanding of institutional asset management business structures. • Strong understanding of wealth, intermediary, and advisor distribution channels. • Demonstrated expertise in conceptual and logical data modeling. • Experience designing relationship-based data models beyond account/contact structures. • Knowledge of data governance, data migration, and integration architecture. • Experience integrating CRM with portfolio accounting, billing, and operational systems. • Excellent written communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to operate independently with limited oversight. • Preferred: built or redesigned CRM platforms from the ground up and supported both institutional and intermediary/wealth distribution on a single platform. • Preferred: familiarity with investment products, mandates, pooled funds, consultant relationships, and OCIO models, and experience with enterprise data governance and client master initiatives. Education Requirements
