Business Development Representative (Former Athletes & Veterans) Remote *This opportunity is presented by Shift Group on behalf of a fast-growing, well-funded cloud security company. About the Opportunity Weare partnering with a cloud security company going head-to-head with the biggest name in its category, and winning real market share. Their platform protects the cloud environments modern companies run on, and the sales team is growing so fast they need more SDRs to keep up. This is a high-intensity, high-accountability seat with a demanding monthly target, and they're upfront about it. For the right competitor, it's one of the best training grounds in tech sales. We back this expectation with a $70,000 Base and a $100,000 OTE. If you want to be pushed and paid for it, this is your seat. Key Responsibilities • Generate Pipeline: Book discovery meetings with security leaders at cloud-first organizations. • Beat the Incumbent: Give buyers a specific, compelling reason to take a meeting with the challenger. • Advance Opportunities: Qualify conversations that progress toward a proof of concept. • Stay Disciplined: Keep the CRM clean and your activity consistent every single day. Qualifications • The Experience: Outbound prospecting experience preferred; exposure to cloud or cybersecurity is a big plus. • Competitive Background: Former collegiate or professional athletes and military veterans thrive here.
