NOW HIRING: Journeyman Electrician – Data Center / Industrial Company: Great Basin Staffing LLC Location: Des Moines, IA Start Date: Immediate Duration: Long-Term Project Schedule: 50–60 Hours per Week | Overtime Available | Day & Night Shift Opportunities Pay: Up to $64.00/hour DOE + $175 Per Diem for Qualified Travelers Compensation & Benefits: Relocation assistance available, Signing and Referral Bonus Available for Qualified Applicants and Referrals. Position Overview Great Basin Staffing LLC is seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians with data center and/or industrial experience for a long-term project in the Des Moines area. Candidates must possess an active Iowa Journeyman Electrician license or a Journeyman license from a reciprocating state: (AK, AR, CO, MN, MT, NE, NH, ND, OK, SD, TX, or WI) This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile project offering consistent overtime and long-term work in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. We are looking for licensed electricians with experience in data centers, industrial facilities, or large-scale commercial projects who are proficient in conduit installation, wire pulls, terminations, and electrical systems. Experience reading blueprints, installing power distribution equipment, and working safely around energized systems is highly preferred. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems on data center and industrial projects • Bend and install EMT and rigid conduit • Pull wire and install conduit systems • Install panels, switchgear, lighting, fixtures, and electrical devices • Build and terminate circuits in accordance with NEC standards • Read and interpret blueprints, one-line drawings, and electrical schematics • Perform rough-in and finish work • Maintain a safe and productive job site Requirements • Active Iowa Journeyman Electrician License or qualifying Journeyman license from a reciprocating state • Data center and/or industrial electrical experience strongly preferred • Minimum two years of commercial, industrial, or mission-critical electrical experience • Experience with conduit installation, wire pulls, and terminations • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics • Must have basic hand tools and cordless drill • Reliable transportation • Ability to pass pre-employment screening Preferred Experience • Data centers • Industrial facilities • Manufacturing plants • Mission-critical construction • Switchgear and power distribution • Motor controls • Commissioning and startup Compensation & Benefits • Up to $64.00/hour DOE • $175 Per Diem for Qualified Travelers • 50–60 Hours per Week • Overtime Available • Day & Night Shift Opportunities • Weekly Pay • Long-Term Project Great Basin Staffing offers eligible employees a comprehensive benefits package, including: • Medical, Dental & Vision • Telemedicine & Prescription Benefits • Accident, Critical Illness & Disability Coverage • Life Insurance • 401(k) Options Benefits and eligibility vary by plan and assignment.
