This position offers $28 per hour, first-shift scheduling, and light-touch freight handling. Pay & Schedule Details • Pay: $28 per hour • Schedule: First shift. Monday-Friday starting between 5:30- 6 a.m. • Hours per day vary from 6-11 hours a day Job Details • Route type: Local. Multiple stops in Des Moines, IA, and North West IA • Freight: Flatbed freight, hauling steel beams and pipes • Equipment: Flatbed truck • Handling: Light touch Key Responsibilities • Operate a CDL A flatbed truck safely and professionally. • Complete local transportation assignments during first-shift hours. • Handle flatbed freight using light-touch procedures. • Inspect and operate equipment in accordance with applicable safety standards. • Maintain accurate delivery and transportation records. Minimum Requirements • 9+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience. • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License. • Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years. • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
