Title: Freelance Photographer – Installation Shoot Location: West Des Moines, IA – On-Site Shoot Date: Targeting November 8 Pay Rate: $75/hr. Job Overview Our client is looking for a freelance photographer to capture a completed installation at a commercial location in West Des Moines, IA. The photographer will capture a mix of wide environmental photography showcasing the full installation and space, as well as closer detail shots highlighting the work itself. The primary focus will be still photography, though there may be an opportunity to capture some video footage as well if it can be accommodated within the project budget. Responsibilities • Photograph a completed commercial installation on-site in West Des Moines. • Capture a mix of wide-angle/environmental shots and close-up detail photography. • Showcase both the overall space and specific installation details. • Provide professionally edited final images. • If the volume of photography exceeds the available editing budget, provide approximately 10–15 fully edited selects along with the remaining raw images. • Potentially capture supplemental video footage, depending on capabilities and budget. • Handle necessary photography equipment and on-site setup. Ideal Background • Professional photography experience, ideally within architectural, interiors, commercial, retail, experiential, or installation photography. • Strong portfolio demonstrating environmental/wide shots as well as detailed close-up photography. • Experience photographing completed spaces, installations, or branded environments preferred. • Comfortable managing the shoot independently on location. • Video capabilities are a plus, but not required.
