You will own a defined book of target accounts and quota, working closely with the VP, Healthcare Sales to execute the go to-market strategy across two buyer segments: • Healthcare Staffing Agencies — travel nurse, per diem, allied health, locum tenens, and home health staffing firms seeking modern ATS/VMS/workforce management platforms. • Health Systems & Hospitals — HR departments, talent acquisition leaders, and workforce operations teams at hospitals, health networks, and integrated delivery systems (IDNs) evaluating contingent workforce and vendor management solutions. Key Responsibilities New Business Development • Prospect, qualify, and build pipeline within an assigned territory or target account list across healthcare staffing agency and health system buyer personas. • Run a consultative, full-cycle sales process — discovery, demo, proposal, negotiation, and close — for net-new logos. • Consistently meet or exceed assigned quota and pipeline generation targets. Account & Relationship Management • Build relationships with key stakeholders, including HR, Talent Acquisition, Contingent Workforce Management, and operations leaders at prospect organizations. • Navigate multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving procurement, IT, legal, and clinical operations contacts. • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecast, and activity data in the CRM; report regularly to the VP, Healthcare Sales. Sales Execution & Collaboration • Deliver product demonstrations and tailor positioning to the compliance, credentialing, and shift-management needs of healthcare buyers. • Partner with Marketing on outbound campaigns, conference follow-up (e.g., NAHCR, ASHHRA, Staffing Industry Analysts events), and lead conversion. • Provide field feedback to Product Management and the VP, Healthcare Sales on market requirements and competitive positioning. • Represent Ceipal at industry events and trade association activities as needed. Qualifications Required • 6+ years of B2B software sales experience, including direct, quota-carrying new business sales. • Experience selling into healthcare staffing agencies, healthcare HR/Talent Acquisition functions, or healthcare workforce management buyers preferred; transferable B2B SaaS sales experience will be considered. • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding individual sales quota. • Working knowledge of healthcare staffing or healthcare workforce management concepts (e.g., credentialing, compliance requirements, shift-based scheduling) or demonstrated ability to ramp quickly in a regulated vertical. • Comfort navigating multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles (typically 3–12 months). • Based in the United States; willing and able to travel as needed for customer meetings and industry events. Preferred • Prior experience selling ATS, VMS, HCM, or workforce management software. • Existing network of contacts at healthcare staffing agencies and/or health systems. • Familiarity with the competitive landscape: LaborEdge, Bluesky, Bullhorn, Avionté, TempWorks, Beeline, Shiftwise/AMN, and similar ATS/VMS platforms. What Success Looks Like In your first 90 days, you will have completed onboarding and product certification, built an initial target account list, and begun generating qualified pipeline. In your first year, you will have established a consistent pipeline-generation cadence and delivered against your annual quota. In year two and beyond, you will be a top performer on the healthcare sales team, with an expanding book of business and the experience to mentor newer Account Executives as the team scales.
