Sales Development Representative • Location: Remote • Duration: Until May 3 • Schedule: 40 hours per week • Contract Type: W2 under Kelly • Pay: $37.72 per hour, plus commission. • Visa Sponsorship: Not applicable Description Help grow an early-stage business by identifying prospective customers, generating qualified sales opportunities, and scheduling discovery meetings. The ideal candidate enjoys prospecting, starting conversations, and refining outreach in a developing business environment. Key responsibilities • Research prospective clients, decision-makers, and relevant business use cases. • Build and maintain targeted prospect lists. • Conduct outbound outreach by phone, personalized email, and LinkedIn. • Qualify customer needs, potential task volume, timelines, and fit. • Schedule qualified discovery meetings and provide clear handoff notes. • Maintain accurate prospect and activity records in Salesforce or a similar CRM. • Track outreach and meeting goals, share prospect feedback, and help refine messaging and targeting. Skills and qualifications • 2–4+ years of experience in sales development, outbound sales, business development, or a related client-facing role. • Experience with prospect research, lead-list building, and cold outreach. • Strong communication, organization, persistence, and follow-through. • Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM and Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel. • Comfortable working in an early-stage environment where processes and sales materials may evolve. • AI fluency or eagerness to use AI tools effectively while applying sound human judgment. • B2B services, logistics, field operations, or technology prospecting experience is a plus. Success criteria • Consistently identify and contact relevant prospects. • Generate qualified opportunities and schedule discovery meetings. • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide useful handoff notes. • Share feedback that helps improve outreach and targeting.
