Estimator

Position Title: Clear Air Enviro Services – Estimator/Contract Administrator Primary Purpose and Function: Preparing sales and purchase contracts, negotiating contract terms with internal and external partners, reviewing and updating existing contracts, explaining terms and conditions to managers and interested parties, and ensuring compliance with company contracts. They will also Negotiate contract terms and conditions with each party, analyzing potential risks involved. PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Activities require answering VoIP phones, working on computers with keyboard and various office functions. Frequent sitting for extended periods. Work is normally in an environmentally controlled office setting. Ability to interact with customers and employees in a positive manner. Ability to remain seated for prolonged periods of time. Ability to operate a computer. Occasionally required to stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders. Occasionally move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Duties: Sources RFP/RFQ/IFB and identifies scope of work with company services. Engages with Engineers, Contractors and like Estimators on upcoming projects. Reviews Scope & Specs., Conducts Take-off and Measurements. Calculates the total cost of labor, parts, equipment, and time needed regarding services. Take sufficient steps to minimize project risks. Liaise with and support the General Manager to ensure the project is completed safely and properly. Ensure compliance with the company's work health and safety policies, standards and procedures. Prepare monthly project reports and make presentations at meetings. Support negotiations of claims, manage contractual changes and resolve disputes or conflict resolution with Contractors. Assess and prepare claims from suppliers. Other Duties Assigned Knowledge and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering. Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documents, legal documents, financial reports. Basic understanding of purchasing and supply chain procedures. Advanced presentation and persuasive skills. Great verbal and written communication skills. Good understanding of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and occupational, safety and environmental regulations and law. Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
