Key Responsibilities The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will be tasked with a range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the best outcomes for our clients: • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate clients' mental health conditions, behaviors, and needs, utilizing various standardized tools and methodologies. • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as alternative therapeutic approaches where appropriate. • Provide a combination of in-person and remote counseling sessions, enabling clients to engage in therapy in a way that is most comfortable for them. • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation, including therapy session notes, treatment progress, and client records, to ensure continuity of care. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care, participating in case reviews and consultations to meet clients' diverse needs. • Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in mental health therapies, continuously integrating new knowledge into practice. • Facilitate support groups and therapeutic interventions aimed at community engagement and collective healing. • Ensure all counseling practices adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain client confidentiality. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clients range from children to seniors, each navigating their unique mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and serious and persistent mental illnesses. The counselor's role is pivotal in providing a safe space for clients to express their concerns, fostering an environment that promotes trust, resilience, and recovery. Qualifications • A Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related discipline is required. • Must hold a valid social work license as per Washington State regulations (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW). • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with patients and their families, displaying empathy and active listening skills. • No history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third-party background check. • Authorized to work in the U.S. without restrictions. Preferred Experience • Prior experience working in outpatient mental health care settings is highly desirable. • Familiarity with community resources and advocacy for client support services. • Experience with telehealth platforms and remote counseling methods. Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this position ranges from USD 50,000 to 70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
