Vodec is currently hiring for a full-time Administrative Assistant to join our team. Vodec provides services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities with a wide-range of services and programs. "By helping others reach their potential, you reach yours." Please check back on Indeed for messages regarding your application status as well as your Indeed registered email (please check your spam/junk folder) Available Position: • Full-time; 40 hours per week • Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 4pm • Wage: $17.50 per hour • Hiring Bonus: $1,000 (paid in one increment after six months of continued employment) The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing support to the administrative and program service team. This position will assist in the daily operation of the office, including but not limited to: • Greet clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person's visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location. • Notify all staff of who is in the building. • Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments. • Collect mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items. • Performs administrative and clerical support tasks. • Manage the conference room calendars and meeting schedules. • Assist with new hire orientation set up. • Performs basic filing and recordkeeping. • Maintain and order supplies. • Performs other duties. Knowledge Skills and Abilities • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems. • Ability to work independently. Installation most often includes handling a large advertisement printed on vinyl and ensuring it is properly assembled to the billboard structure. The tallest billboard structure in the company is around 200 feet, so comfort with heights is a must. Maintenance of our billboards includes construction work such as tightening bolts, painting steel structures, repairing trim and various parts of a billboard sign face and structure, changing light bulbs, and more. As for power/manual tools: you bring the experience, we bring the equipment!
