Example of Duties The Hudson Vicinage is seeking dynamic, energetic, and self-motivated individuals to work as a Judiciary Clerk 3 - Classified in the Finance Division. Under the direction of the Finance Division Manager, Assistant Finance Division Manager and the Administrative Supervisor 1. This position is responsible to attend the customer service windows of the Central Finance Fee Office and will also be called upon to assist the division in communicating with limited English language proficiency customers; calculate clients', attorney's fees or court costs; collect fees or costs as directed by the courts; verify the authenticity or validity of documents; verify records for accuracy, completeness or conformity; explain Judiciary Policies Procedures to customers; record cash payment transactions; code information or documents for entry into computer terminals; answer inquiries from the public, attorneys or vicinage staff. This individual will be also responsible to complete document/filings processing activities; verify payments received; balance accounts; verify requisitions, vouchers, bank statements or financial transactions for accuracy; code information or documents for entry into computer terminals; modify (update) cash transactions, record, or journals; summarize account inform or transaction details; record case payment transactions into the Judiciary's database, spreadsheets and systems; sort mail, cards, letters, forms or other documents; review documents for routing to appropriate unit, department or individual; sending form letters such as affidavits, notices etc. for routine correspondence. The successful candidate will possess strong technical, reasoning, and customer service skills, as well as teamwork skills. The above examples of work are to be performed by utilizing Spanish or English, as required, depending on the needs of the individual persons communicated with during the course of official duties. Such examples do not require an individual to interpret or translate any court proceeding or in any other context. Regular and predictable physical presence at the worksite is an essential function of this position. Qualifications Experience Requirement: One year of experience performing a variety of clerical and support services to include keyboarding and one or more of the following: document or information processing, handling payments for fees, recording monies received, reconciling balances or accounts and/or scheduling meetings or appointments. Ability to use a keyboard, no minimum speed. BICAT Testing: Candidates selected to serve in a bilingual variant title must pass the New Jersey Civil Service Commission Bilingual Communicative Ability Test (BICAT) performance examination or provide proof of having established bilingual proficiency with the New Jersey Civil Service Commission. Supplemental Information Driver's License: Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform essential duties of the position. Job Summary Battelle is seeking a Test Technician to provide hands-on technical support for TSA acceptance testing activities supporting a broad range of testing and evaluation activities nationwide. This is a remote position and will require nearly 75% annual travel.
