Job Summary This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service as well as monitoring and assisting with the safety and security of our building and residents after normal business hours. This position is also responsible for cleaning lobbies and common areas, and some general maintenance duties. Job Duties/Responsibilities • Manage the front security desk position after hours. • Monitor access to the building and security cameras. • Document lease violations as observed. Review footage for potential lease violations, and send evidence to property management and/or CAReS team, as assigned. • Respond to and report resident and building emergencies, including calling 911 as needed. • Assist in maintaining a safe environment by taking note of obstruction in hallways, lights that need to be replaced, suspicious activities, and unusual smells or sounds. • Monitor parking lot to verify that vehicles in lot are registered and operable (if applicable). • Respond to emergency calls forwarded from the answering service. • Communicate any safety related incidents with CAReS staff. • Assist with maintenance projects and upkeep as assigned. Document and communicate with on-site maintenance any observed maintenance issues. • Assist with the snow removal and de-icing of the sidewalks and common areas. • Assist with maintaining a clean and attractive environment around the Leasing Office, Community Room and all common areas. • Maintain communications with day staff about any situations that may have occurred overnight. • Read and abide by all company policies and procedures and community policies applicable to your specific property. • Uses appropriate administrative, fiscal, physical, and technical safeguards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and security of CCEW client protected health information (PHI), per regulations outlined in the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). • Will regularly utilize all forms of communication (email, text, phone, etc.) and database practices necessary for this position and as directed by supervisor. • As a mandated reporter, follow all procedures outlined in agency policies and procedures to report to the proper agency when there is suspicion and/or confirmation that a child or adult has been a victim of abuse or neglect. • Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned by the Housing Director. • Adheres to the tenets of Catholic Social Teaching and Catholic Doctrine. • Perform as a team member to assure that productivity; outcome measures are achieved. • Perform related functions necessary to support the mission and core values of Catholic Charities.
