Your day-to-day job duties as a Store Manager will include, but are not limited to, the following:Recruit and hire store associates to serve our customersFoster the growth and development of associates through training on operations and merchandising while coaching and correcting when appropriateOversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operationsEnsure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, while enforcing company policies and proceduresPerform opening and closing procedures as neededImplement operational and merchandising direction that is communicated from our corporate headquartersHelp your store reach its maximum profit contributionProtect company assetsMaintain a high level of customer service across the storeEnsure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leadersYour Skills and Experience Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience is preferredExperience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus is preferredStrong productivity management in freight processing is requiredStrong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are requiredAbility to work in a high-energy, team environment is requiredMust be able to lift up between 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation is requiredAdditional Information Here, your hard work pays off in more ways than one!
