Job Description Position Purpose: The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud and supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store/multiple stores. They utilize tools to minimize loss to the Company, including but not limited to identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring the store's physical security, auditing the Electronic Article Surveillance and driving a shrink elimination culture in the store. Other responsibilities include: preparing accurate and detailed case reports documenting your apprehensions and recoveries, preserving evidence, interacting with law enforcement and testifying in criminal and civil court actions. The Asset Protection Specialist must report any hazardous or unsafe condition to the Manager on Duty and carry out job responsibilities in a manner that minimizes the risk of injury to themselves, other associates, vendors, customers, and the Company. They must demonstrate integrity at all times, respond to asset protection and operational concerns of all associates and remain focused on store specific business objectives while supporting key asset protection and operational responsibilities. We're looking for a motivated Dock Coordinator to join our team and help keep our fast-paced warehouse running smoothly. In this role, you'll be at the center of daily shipping and receiving activity-coordinating trucks, supporting warehouse teams, and ensuring freight moves efficiently through our dock. Requirements Responsibilities: • Check drivers in and out, verifying load details, appointments, and required documentation. • Coordinate daily dock activity in a fast-paced environment handling a variety of freight including full truckloads and LTL shipments. • Assign and prioritize tasks for shipping and receiving staff in alignment with the Warehouse Manager's daily staffing plan. • Monitor dock flow throughout the shift and adjust work assignments to maintain efficiency and minimize delays. • Collaborate with receiving and production teams to plan inbound product placement and manage dock availability. • Communicate regularly with the Supply Chain team regarding order status, dock scheduling, and truck arrivals/departures. • Ensure accurate processing and filing of shipping and receiving paperwork according to company standards. • Track and update shipment status to maintain visibility of inbound and outbound loads. • Address issues such as schedule changes, documentation discrepancies, or carrier delays in a timely and professional manner. Qualifications: • 2+ years of experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, logistics coordination, or dock operations preferred. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple trucks, priorities, and tasks simultaneously. • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with drivers, warehouse staff, and internal departments. • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, delegate tasks, and maintain efficient dock flow. • Experience handling shipping and receiving documentation with strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse management systems, shipping software, or ERP systems preferred. • Ability to problem-solve quickly and adjust to schedule changes, freight delays, or operational challenges. • Ability to work on your feet in a warehouse environment and frequently lift up to 20 lbs. Hours: Monday - Friday 7a-3:30p, some flexibility in scheduling may be required
