Client Service Coordinator The Department of Public Health & Human Services is seeking to fill 10 Modified Client Service Coordinator positions at various locations statewide. Applicants may indicate their preferred work location(s) during the application process. These 10 new modified positions are grant funded. It is funded through June 30, 2027. After this date, the position may be funded permanently or may be subject to a reduction in force (RIF). The Client Service Coordinator position serves as a vital customer service role and has direct contact with the general public in-person and via a telephone helpline. This position listens to clients, advises of available assistance and timely processes applications/benefits or advises of further documentation required. This position also interviews clients, interprets policies and procedures, and handles a large caseload with competing priorities in a fast-paced customer service environment. Knowledge of public assistance programs and eligibility requirements. Knowledge of customer service principles, practices, and positive public relations. Detail oriented, time management, and multitasking skills. Ability to adhere to confidentiality and proper release of information. Meet minimum qualifications: Associate's degree or certificate in communications, office management, business, human services, sociology, psychology, or other field of study AND four years of job-related experience determining or processing eligibility for social programs and/or health, financial loans, unemployment, collections, call center etc. OR Equivalent to graduation from high school AND five years of professional customer service experience to include considerable public contact in a fast-paced environment managing a large workload, solving complex problems, and handling competing priorities while meeting quality standards. OR related bachelor's degree and 2 years job related experience. Salary: $29.30 Hourly Telework Eligibility: Telework Eligible (Full-time telework is not available. Please note: 8-12 week mandatory training on camera and ramp period between 7 - 4:30 CT. In this Role the candidate will be responsible for: • Processing of Professional claim forms files by provider • Reviewing the policies and benefits • Comply with company regulations regarding HIPAA, confidentiality, and PHI • Abide with the timelines to complete compliance training of NTT Data/Client • Work independently to research, review and act on the claims • Prioritize work and adjudicate claims as per turnaround time/SLAs • Ensure claims are adjudicated as per clients defined workflows, guidelines • Sustaining and meeting the client productivity/quality targets to avoid penalties • Maintaining and sustaining quality scores above 98.5% PA and 99.75% FA. • Timely response and resolution of claims received via emails as priority work • Correctly calculate claims payable amount using applicable methodology/ fee schedule Requirements: • 1-3 year(s) hands-on experience in Healthcare Claims Processing, Claims Adjustments. • 2+ year(s) using a computer with Windows applications using a keyboard, navigating multiple screens and computer systems, and learning new software tools • High school diploma or GED. • Previously performing – in P&Q work environment; work from queue; remotely • Key board skills and computer familiarity – • Toggling back and forth between screens /can you navigate multiple systems. • Working knowledge of MS office products – Outlook, MS Word and MS-Excel . • Must be able to work 8 am - 4 pm EST online/remote (training is required on-camera ). • Effective troubleshooting where you can leverage your research, analysis and problem-solving abilities • Time management with the ability to cope in a complex, changing environment • Ability to communicate (oral/written) effectively in a professional office setting Preferred Skills & Experiences: • Amisys or Xcelys preferred.
