Role Overview: Customer Service Representatives are the frontline contact for the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. You will provide timely and accurate customer service utilizing good communication skills, computer skills, and on-the-job training. You will assist Hoosiers with a broad scope of BMV needs. This position operates on a fully remote schedule. You will be required to meet minimum internet speed requirements, including upload and download speeds. During the onboarding and orientation process, you will be required to report to a BMV location near you to collect the necessary equipment. Please note that there is always the potential for required in-office hours if need arises. Salary: The salary for this position traditionally starts at $29,588.00 but may be commensurate with education and work experience. A Day in the Life: The essential functions of this role are: • Use your job knowledge to conduct customer transactions. • Answer customer questions and provide guidance. • Assist with the daily opening and closing of the branch. • Check transactions to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and proper accounting. • Work with leadership to resolve escalated customer concerns and system problems. • File applications as completed throughout the day. What You'll Need for Success: Individuals in this role should minimally be able to articulate or demonstrate the following: • Top-notch communication skills. • A high level of critical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot. • Ability to process cash and card transactions. • Ability to travel up to 20 percent of the time to branch. locations, training, or branch-related community activities. • Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. A degree is not required. However, a High School Diploma or High School Equivalent (HSE) and customer service experience applying the outlined knowledge, skills, and abilities in a similar role may be considered. Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports: This role may be utilized in a supervisory capacity based on agency needs. Position Summary/Mission: The Case Management Coordinator utilizes critical thinking and judgment to collaborate and inform the case management process, The Case Management Coordinator facilitates appropriate healthcare outcomes for members by aiding with appointment scheduling, identifying and assisting with accessing benefits and education for members through the use of care management tools and resources. Key Responsibilities • Evaluation of Members: Through the use of care management tools and information/data review, conducts comprehensive evaluation of referred member's needs/eligibility and recommends an approach to case resolution and/or meeting needs by evaluating member's benefit plan and available internal and external programs/services. • Identifies high risk factors and service needs that may impact member outcomes and care planning components with appropriate referral to clinical case management or crisis intervention as appropriate. • Coordinates and implements assigned care plan activities and monitors care plan progress. • Enhancement of Medical Appropriateness and Quality of Care: Using holistic approach consults with case managers, supervisors, Medical Directors and/or other health programs to overcome barriers to meeting goals and objectives; presents cases at case conferences to obtain multidisciplinary review in order to achieve optimal outcomes. • Identifies and escalates quality of care issues through established channels. • Utilizes negotiation skills to secure appropriate options and services necessary to meet the member's benefits and/or healthcare needs. • Utilizes influencing/motivational interviewing skills to ensure maximum member engagement and promote lifestyle/behavior changes to achieve optimum level of health. • Provides coaching, information and support to empower the member to make ongoing independent medical and/or healthy lifestyle choices. • Helps member actively and knowledgably participate with their provider in healthcare decision-making. • Monitoring, Evaluation and Documentation of Care: Utilizes case management and quality management processes in compliance with regulatory and accreditation guidelines and company policies and procedures. • Remote Work Expectations • Candidates must have a dedicated workspace free of interruptions • Dependents must have separate care arrangements during work hours, as continuous care responsibilities during shift times are not permitted. • Interacts with members/clients telephonically or in person. May be required to meet with members/clients in their homes, worksites, or physician's office to provide ongoing case management services. • Colleague may be required to travel up to 25-50% of the time based on member/customer-specific needs. • Ability to travel within a designated geographic area for in-person case management activities as directed by Leadership and/or as business needs arise Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree or non-licensed master level clinician required, with either degree being in behavioral health or human services required (nursing, psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling). • Must have computer literacy in order to navigate through internal/external computer systems, including Excel and Microsoft Word. Preferred Qualifications • Case management and discharge planning experience preferred • 2 years' experience in behavioral health, social services or appropriate related field equivalent to program focus • Managed Care experience preferred • Effective communication, telephonic and organization skills • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently • Ability to effectively participate in a multi-disciplinary team including internal and external participants. Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $21.10 - $44.99 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
