Resources ForesterPort Blakely is looking for a Resources Forester to join our team based in Tumwater, Washington. The Resources Forester will be responsible for supporting the resources department with forestry database management, inventory procedures, and silviculture responsibilities in Washington and Oregon, ensuring the value growth of the company by maintaining a reliable inventory and Forest Information System (FIS). You will work with the Forest Analyst and broader resources team to provide forest database updates, assist with implementations of new FIS technologies, tracking and auditing inventory, cruising for acquisitions/dispositions, and assisting in other research projects and resources tasks as needed. An analytical mindset, attention to detail, and flexibility with logistics and planning is key in this role.As part of our Resources Team, you will report to the Forestry Analyst. This role primarily works out of our office in Tumwater, Washington with minimal travel to Oregon.
