Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Clinic Receptionist at Alegent Creighton Clinic, you will be the welcoming face and first point of contact for our patients, embodying our commitment to "humankindness" and efficient healthcare delivery. This pivotal front-office role involves performing diverse business office and reception duties with accuracy and minimal supervision, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for every individual entering our facility. You'll be central to maintaining our patient-centered environment and supporting our mission. Every day you will manage incoming phone calls, expertly scheduling patient appointments according to office guidelines, and greeting and registering patients with warmth and efficiency. You'll meticulously collect, verify, and update essential patient demographic and insurance information, including co-pays and deductible amounts. This role also involves preparing patient charts, conducting all check-in and check-out functions, processing payments, coordinating follow-up appointments, and ensuring timely communication regarding any appointment delays.
