Division Of Motor Vehicles (Dmv) The Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) provides services used by nearly every citizen of the State. Colorado citizens utilize identification, driver, and vehicle services at State and County offices to obtain identification cards, driver licenses, vehicle registrations, titles, and other related services. Additionally, the DMV licenses and provides oversight of private businesses and government organizations that provide driver and emission testing services. Finally, the division works closely with other state agencies and programs to provide information and education to serve the public and encourage voluntary compliance. Driver Services Call Center - Administrative Assistant II Job Duties: The ideal applicant brings their customer service experience and their strong attention to detail to this job every day to ensure comprehensive information exchange, provided in a thorough, professional manner with every support transaction. This position researches, updates and corrects driver records. Duties include but are not limited to: • Data entry into databases and spreadsheets; • Provide customer service via telephone or in-person to external stakeholders and customers; • Translate and clarify Colorado Motor Vehicle statutes, department administrative procedures, and policy to customers; • Determine the effect of statutory law on a driving record and use experience and reasoning to determine the best approach for the possible courses of action in response to division notices, restraints, or general licensing issues; • Advise customers as to the fee, documentation, and testing requirements; • Provide and instruct customers in identifying and acquiring the mandatory forms to accomplish the desired action(s); • Access the spreadsheet to determine the current location of a requested file; if still on hard copy, pull paper documents, scan copies, and return originals to their proper location; file and other retrievals as required. Sr. Traffic Engineer The location of this position is flexible and can be performed from any of our Apex offices or remotely within 250 miles an Apex office. The candidate will be expected to attend in-person key business, client, and project related meetings, including personnel meetings if they are a direct supervisor. This person will report directly to the Transportation Sector Leader. This position is considered a strategic hire and will provide an opportunity to build a traffic team by expanding services to public and private clients. Key responsibilities will include being involved with technical work for transportation and municipal projects requiring traffic engineering and operations analysis. This position will also require participating in the development of new opportunities, prepare effective technical proposals and active collaboration on projects with other project managers. Qualification Requirements: • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. • Professional Engineers License or ability to be licensed in North Dakota and Minnesota within 6 months. • Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certification. • 5 or more years of traffic engineering and transportation planning related experience. • Experience with transportation projects and public agencies located in North Dakota and Minnesota is preferred. • Strong project management skills and experience. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Must be detail orientated, self-motivated with strong interpersonal and organizational skills. • Proficient using Microsoft Windows/Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). • Traffic modeling experience using Synchro/SimTraffic, HCS, Vissim, and other traffic analysis software. • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer • A valid driver's license is required or the ability to obtain one.
