Jerseystem Volunteer All JerseySTEM roles are pro-bono (unpaid) positions. JerseySTEM is a mission-driven professional network of pro-bono contributors dedicated to improving access to STEM education and career pathways for underserved middle school girls in New Jersey. Members contribute their professional skills and leverage their networks in service of the organization's gender-equity agenda. Membership is a minimum six-month commitment of approximately six flexible hours per week and includes a $100 refundable deposit, returned after six months of active membership. K–12 educators, retirees, veterans, interns, and students are exempt from the deposit. Overview This is a pro-bono volunteer position. As a member of a team of 3-4 volunteers, develop and/or acquire as well as improve STEM Engineering Outreach Program curriculum to be delivered to middle school girls (grades 5-8) who are in underserved communities. (The Outreach Programs are typically delivered as after-school programs following a fall/spring semester schedule.) Responsibilities • Develop new and interesting STEM curriculum, and update existing curriculum • Reach out to content providers for potential partnership • Produce materials for both Program Instructors and students to use in the afterschool programs • Produce extracts of the Curriculum to fit the needs of the class • Answer content questions, and provide advice on curriculum content delivery • Leverage technology for innovative ways to deliver curriculum • Learn and practice the curriculum concepts • Use feedback from ongoing classes to improve/enhance existing curriculum • Be a proactive team member and be part of building a fun and exciting team! Qualifications • BS and strong background in an engineering related field • Experience with STEM curriculum a plus • Strong written and verbal communications skills • Able to adapt and solve problems as they arise • Willing to volunteer advice and opinion • Enjoy working with a team/collaborating Time Commitment • 3-6 Hours weekly • 6 months minimum

Security Technical Account Manager - Project Lightwell

The Global Services Cross-Platform Team is looking for a Security Technical Account Manager dedicated to supporting customers in the recently announced Project Lightwell. In this role, you will be a subject matter expert in Security, Application Development practices (Java/Python/JavaScript), andthe Red Hat Enterprise ecosystem, including RHEL, Satellite, and Ansible automation. You will provide personalized, attentive, proactive support and mentorship to assigned strategic enterprise customers. You will establish high-value relationships with key stakeholders to understand their environment, including IT infrastructure, internal processes, and business requirements. You will share technical best practices and serve as a point of contact for major incidents, managing customer expectations and communications to ensure their resolution. As a Security Technical Account Manager,you will work closely with our Engineering, Products and Technologies, Product Management, and Global Support teams to debug, test, and resolve issues. You'll need to be able to work as part of a team, enjoy working hard, and be professional and dedicated to meeting and exceeding expectations and building relationships. Job Responsibilities: • Ability to read, understand and implement planograms in store. Adjust sections as necessary based on evaluation with or without planograms. Report feedback on specific planogram compliance or item availability concerns, to the appropriate parties. • Visits retailers on Home Store or Field Sales program on a provided schedule, to execute customer specific plans. Providing effective feedback and follow-up. Perform duties in accordance with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) policies and procedures, as appropriate for the location • Rotate stock and remove out-of-code products. Process Merchandise returns and issue credits according to company policy. • Interpret and facilitate internal reports related to assigned project. Complete required paperwork accurately and timely. • Seize opportunities to increase sales through creative merchandising Techniques. Sell promotional and sales programs as assigned. Follow through on customer product requests. • Responsible for maintaining effective business relations with customers and UNFI Stakeholders, this is accomplished through in-person interactions at store, via phone calls, and emails to the sales team and customers. • Order products that align with customer needs and effectively display them in stores.
