What You Drive At DTNA • Perform physically demanding warehouse duties including repetitive processes, moderate to heavy lifting, the use of machinery, and following standardized work procedures. • Actively participate in improving work area in terms of safety, quality, attendance, productivity, suggestion activities, housekeeping, and throughput. Pick, prepare and package required quantity of material for proper shipment. • Operation of Voice Directed Picking Equipment. • Operate power vehicles such as a forklift, reach truck and order picker to a height of 24 feet. • Safely operate and / or work in the vicinity of many types of equipment, such as forklifts, reach trucks, pick trucks, propane powered lifts, battery changing equipment, electric carousels, conveyor lines, heavy duty pneumatic staple guns, compactors, dock levelers, etc. without risk to self or other employees. • Communicate effectively with others within and outside the work group. • Ability to work overtime when needed. • Excellent attendance and punctuality. • Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Knowledge You Should Bring • PIV experience such as Forklift, Reach Truck, or Order Picker. • Previous warehouse experience. • Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting tools. • Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 75 pounds. • Must maintain a clean work area. • Meet quality standards and implement continuous improvement measures. • Cross train on other jobs as required. This role verifies accuracy of shipments, completes all paperwork (BOLs, packing lists, MTRs), maintains real time inventory accuracy, and coordinates closely with production, sales, and drivers.
