Warehouse Associate Starting Pay $16.00/hr + $1.25 shift premium for weekday night shifts (Monday-Thursday) + $2.00 shift premium for weekend day and night shifts (Friday-Sunday) Available Shifts: Weekday and Weekend Day Shifts: Start time between 6am and 7am, end time between 4pm and 6pm Weekday and Weekend Overnight Shifts: Start time between 6pm and 7pm, end time between 4am and 6am About The Role As a Warehouse Associate, you will prepare, process and move merchandise productively, safely, and accurately according to established production rates, standards and guidelines. You will be cross-trained to perform various functions in different departments to support business and operational needs. What You'll Do Receive and process merchandise, including picking, packing, preparing, shipping orders and returns and loading and unloading trailers Input data to prepare reports Provide high-quality internal and external customer service, including communicating with vendors, associates and locations to resolve disputes and review compliance To promote a safe work environment, follow all company, state, local and OSHA safety rules, policies and regulations; promptly report any potential violations to the appropriate supervisor or manager Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards and guidelines, including those related to accuracy and productivity Maintain regular and acceptable attendance as set by the company and comply with dress code requirements Maintain a flexible work schedule and adhere to the requirement of working any designated shift and overtime as requested per business and operational needs What Skills You Have Required Proficiency in English sufficient to understand and follow rules, training, and instructions necessary for operational safety and efficiency Effective collaboration and teamwork skills Adept multi-tasking abilities Ability to satisfactorily complete company training programs and cross-train in at least 2 departments Essential Functions Ability to perform the accountabilities listed in the "What You'll Do" Section Ability to comply with dress code requirements Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and basic computer operation Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance and have flexibility within the hours of operation Ability to learn and comply with all company policies, procedures, standards and guidelines Ability to receive, understand and proactively respond to direction from leadership and other company personnel Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively and appropriately with others Ability to maintain composure and work in a fast paced environment while accomplishing multiple tasks within established timeframes Ability to satisfactorily complete company training programs Ability to use a personal computer/ipad for tasks such as communicating, preparing reports, etc. Perform work in accordance with the Physical Requirements section. Physical Requirements Ability to operate and communicate on multiple frequency devices, handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 30 lbs. frequently, up to 50 lbs. occasionally and over 50 lbs. with a two person lift Ability to climb, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, reach, lift, grasp, push and pull on a frequent basis Ability to stand and /or walk for the duration of the scheduled shift (at least 12 hours) Ability to visually verify information and locate and inspect merchandise Ability to comply with health and safety standards Ability to work in a multi-level environment, including climbing stairs Ability to periodically work overtime to support the cyclical nature of the business (may entail a shift longer than 12 hours) Working Conditions Exposure to noise and moderate but varying temperatures Kohl's uses Biometric equipment for various business purposes, which may include timekeeping, access, secure entry/exit, temperature/wellness screenings, or other business operations

Global Industrial Delivering Value Starts Here Key Responsibilities • Uses an RF scanner to determine the proper products to be moved, gathered, or distributed for completing customer orders. • Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets, shelves or conveyor belts based on the necessary route for either the packing station or shipping department. • Operates a riding powered pallet jack and/or forklift to move products efficiently in a productive environment. • Receives processed orders, verifies accuracy of order and scans order into computer system. • Banding product securely to respective pallet using company standards to ensure our customers satisfaction. • Utilizes machinery to shrink wrap products on pallets. • Operates forklift and pallet jack to stage or load products as necessary. • Loads orders safely and efficiently. • Receives merchandise into the warehouse daily upon delivery. Unloads trucks and verifies inventory. • Record and report discrepancies and/or damages as needed. • Perform other duties as assigned. Competencies and skills Work Schedule: 2nd Shift. This role generally operates on a 3:00PM to 11:30PM schedule. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Must have previous experience operating a gas forklift and electric pallet jack. Minimum of 1 year experience working in a Warehouse environment required. Minimum of 1 year experience operating an electric pallet jack required. Minimum of 1 year experience utilizing an RF Scanner required. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a frequent basis required. Able to stand, walk, pull and bending 100% of the day on a continuous basis in a fast-paced environment. Must have organizational and multi-tasking skills in fast-paced environment. Utilize various types of packing supplies to protect product on pallet for shipping. Reading and comprehension skills required. Must possess computer exposure. Strong initiative and self-motivational skills. Strong verbal communication skills.
