7:00am-1:30pm/Monday-Friday* We offer pay for performance where associates can earn additional compensation if they meet certain productivity thresholds.*Join our Staples World Class Supply Chain Team and deliver essential products to our customers.What you'll be doing:As a warehouse associate you may work in one of the following four areas:Order Picker: You will pick and prepare customer orders accurately and timely to meet daily production goals. At times you will be picking above ground level while adhering to safety procedures.Restocker: You will scan labels, cut boxes, and restock shelves to prep your work area for the next shift while adhering to safety procedures.Bulk Selector: You will be responsible for selecting product, pulling, and packing totes, as well as cutting cases of merchandise and/or stocking product. You will move full totes and cases onto a conveyor belt while adhering to safety procedures.Custodian: You will be responsible for general cleaning and basic maintenance duties both inside and outside of the facility. SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONSThe Distribution Center Associate position is responsible for performing general warehouse and distribution center functions that includes but is not limited to receiving, shipping, quality control, returns, designated scrap orders, and put away while maintaining Sagent's level of quality and safety standards.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESRECEIVING ACTIVITIESCorrect and accurate receipt of product delivered to Sagent including but not limited to box and material inspection, verification of packing slip, correct entry into Microsoft AX ERP system, unboxing of materials, maintenance of paperwork and receiving processing for overall compliance and governance of KPIs, SLAs, Contractual Program Requirements, etc.Entry and execution of internal receipt of product and activities across departments including put away / entry into stock within defined KPIs/SLAs.SHIPPING ACTIVITIESCorrect and accurate shipping of product by Sagent including correct packing slip creation, appropriate picking and packing of product, usage of the correct consumables (packing boxes, foam, bubble wrap, etc.) for product to arrive safely, updates to Microsoft AX ERP and WMS systems, processing of ship logs, correct processing of paperwork, palletizing materials, and general shipping (small parcel / freight) for overall compliance and governance of KPIs, SLAs, Contractual Program Requirements, etc.Accurate and timely pick, pack, ship execution for material and sales order requests.Engagement with transportation and supply companies for overall execution.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIESAssist with general activities that include inspecting PIT equipment, maintaining a clean and safe Distribution Center, movement of materials, trash, recycling, and general activities responsible within the Distribution Center.Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to support activities spanning multiple business units: equipment sales, repair sales, field services, and Asset Lifecycle Management programs.SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIREDHigh School diploma or equivalent.Ability to type and perform data entry into Sagent's ERP and WMS system.Preferred ability to operate warehouse equipment including the ability to drive and maintain forklifts (stand up / sit down) experience.Comfortable using inventory management software and other organizational computer applications.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, effectively balancing multiple activities.PHYSICAL DEMANDS | WORK ENVIRONMENTThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
