Delivery Driver The Delivery Driver plays a crucial role in supporting our purpose of creating lasting value for those we serve by providing efficient and safe delivery of our products and services, while representing the company in a professional manner. The Delivery Driver is responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with our customers by communicating effectively, ensuring quality and accuracy of our products, answering customer questions and keeping customers informed about our company and our services. This role serves as a key part of our sales process as they seek additional business from current customers and attempt to gain new business by passing leads on to our sales functions and informs the sales groups of customer and competitor intelligence. Depending on location, this person may be required to provide back-up coverage for the Transfer Truck Driver (where additional DOT guidelines and off shift hours may apply) from time to time. In addition to the delivery and customer service responsibilities, the Delivery Driver also takes initiative to provide general maintenance and up-keep of their delivery vehicle, performs daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment, and adheres to all DOT compliance requirements to ensure a positive relationship between the DOT and our company.
