This is the opportunity for you! As a medical assistant working in our Interventional Physiatry Clinic located at our West Des Moines office, you will play a key part in a patient's journey. You will assist Physicians in clinic and ensure a positive patient experience. To thrive in this role, you have a passion for patient care and the desire to learn. This is a part-time (24 hours/week), Monday - Friday opportunity. Here's What You Can Expect • You will room patients, gather necessary medical information and enter information quickly and accurately into an electronic medical record. • Work directly alongside a Physician in office, assisting with in-office procedures. • Standing on your feet for extended periods of time which may seem unnatural. • A small, close-knit team of professionals you can rely on who work closely to provide patient care we are proud of. This position assists in managing the store to achieve KPI's (key performance indicators) goals, which are measured and recorded monthly, quarterly and annually with a goal of meeting or exceeding revenue targets to help fund GCI's (Goodwill of Central Iowa) mission of making purposeful employment possible for all. Assistant Store Managers provide excellent customer service to external and internal customers. This position will lead processes such as donation tracking, production and pricing of donated goods, cash balancing, team member performance coaching, safety, and training using various technology and systems.What you'll do here:Assist in managing the team and store processes effectively to meet sales and production goals monthly, quarterly and annually.Train and coach employees using various platforms including in‑person, online, and written processes.Effectively use technology such as Microsoft Office suite, Point of Sales system, Human Resources Information System, cash register operations system, camera system to communicate, monitor, and track store metrics.Analyze expenses, production, and sales to achieve revenue goals to support and fund Goodwill of Central Iowa's mission.
