Warehouse Associate A Warehouse Associate is responsible for their portion of the warehouse functions. This role will be accountable for the suitable handling and processing of all orders received in the picking, scanning, shipping, receiving and/or returns area. Though each associate is assigned to a section of the warehouse, all are trained in the various areas and work where needed most as directed by their supervisor. HOURS: 7:00 am - 3:45 pm | Monday - Friday with overtime as needed Essential Functions To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function. • Safely pull, process, and perform inspections of materials, supplies, tools, fixtures, and part and complete required paperwork. • Accurately record quantities selected (or shorted) maintaining the company standard error rate. • Move materials within the warehouse and assist in other warehouse activities as directed by Supervisor or Manager. • Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from staging and processing areas. • Read work orders and/or receive verbal instructions for work assignments. • Fill and complete order receipts. • Transport filled orders to and from shipping area. • Maintain good housekeeping and regularly clean work area, machines, and equipment. • Identify and contribute to continuous improvement efforts to reduce costs or increase productivity without reducing effectiveness. • Maintain an open and candid working relationship with immediate supervisor/manager in discussing matters of importance. • Adhere to established company values, practices, policies, and procedures at all times.
