The Role Netflix is seeking a Senior Content Designer for our Live XD team. The successful candidate will combine superior craft and communication skills with a passion for user experience design and entertainment. About the role You'll use language and design to help shape the future of Live programming on Netflix, including sports and must-see events. As part of a cross-functional team, you'll test new ideas and approaches to content design that inform, educate, guide, and delight while creating business value. You have a passion for both end-to-end feature development and designing experiments focusing on different language approaches. Key Responsibilities: • You'll work on several projects at once, providing concepting, content strategy, and writing from early ideation through final execution. • You understand how to rationalize UX solutions with data, improve designs through feedback, and thoughtfully question the status quo. • You'll initiate your own innovation projects and identify opportunities to join existing projects to elevate the quality of their work. • You'll partner with Design leadership to evolve Netflix's guidelines and standards. Preferred Qualifications • 5+ years experience writing for consumer-facing digital products. • Ability to work autonomously and make strategic decisions independently. • Portfolio demonstrating Content Design and user-focused product design strategy. • Experience designing for streaming services, live TV, and/or sports is a plus. • Outstanding communication, presentation, and people skills. • Experience with a/b testing and experiments • Ability to think critically about user journeys and content flows, and to connect the dots between them. This is a full-time, salaried role reporting to the Content Design Manager in the Member Experience Design (XD) team. Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $120,000-$515,000 Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. Customer Service Representative As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing a well-stocked and well-maintained department while providing superior customer service.
