PAML a Labcorp company is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Spokane, WA Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 1:00pm; additional hours and rotating Saturday's as needed Job Responsibilities: • Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. • Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner • Process billing information and collect payments when required • Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis • Maintain patient and specimen information logs • Provide superior customer service to all patients • Administrative and clerical duties as necessary • Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications • Valid Washington State-issued Phlebotomy License Preferred Qualifications: • 3 or more months of phlebotomy experience • 6 or more months of current or prior Labcorp experience in phlebotomy Additional Job Standards: • In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement. • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test • Flexibility to work overtime as needed • Exceptional customer service • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal • Ability to work independently or in a team environment • Comfortable working under minimal supervision At PAML a Labcorp company we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives.
