PAML a Labcorp company is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Spokane, WA Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 1:00pm; additional hours and rotating Saturday's as needed Job Responsibilities: • Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. • Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner • Process billing information and collect payments when required • Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis • Maintain patient and specimen information logs • Provide superior customer service to all patients • Administrative and clerical duties as necessary • Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications • Valid Washington State-issued Phlebotomy License Preferred Qualifications: • 3 or more months of phlebotomy experience • 6 or more months of current or prior Labcorp experience in phlebotomy Additional Job Standards: • In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement. • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test • Flexibility to work overtime as needed • Exceptional customer service • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal • Ability to work independently or in a team environment • Comfortable working under minimal supervision At PAML a Labcorp company we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives. About this Opportunity The Mail Rater, C2 Mail Processing operates mailing machines; adjust, maintain and operate mail processing equipment such as ink jet addressing system, mail inserter, tabber and folders, process and meter outgoing mail, mail handwork and use computers to enter and print appropriate U.S. Postal Service paperwork. Participate in Lean Process Improvement activities, daily, weekly and monthly huddles. Lean idea generation and team building, meetings and other workflow improvement activities.
