The Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) is accepting applications for a Food Service Worker to assist in maintaining kitchen operations, supporting food preparation and service, and performing routine cleaning and sanitation duties. The Opportunity: You will provide nutritious meals to youth and staff in accordance with Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) standards. The Food Service Worker plays a crucial role in maintaining kitchen operations and cleanliness, supporting the team, and ensuring meal service runs smoothly. In addition, the role involves teaching youth culinary skills and modeling strong work ethics. These skills help prepare youth for a successful transition back into the community and support their overall rehabilitation within the facility.
