Work and PerksPOSITION SUMMARYThe Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning all dishes, silverware, glassware, utensils, and pots/pans, as well as providing support to other areas of the BOH. This position requires a strong sense of urgency, adaptability, and the ability to work efficiently. The Dishwasher represents Miller's Ale House by exhibiting professionalism, attention to detail, and a desire to foster a positive work environment.ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES* Arrive on time, in full uniform, and ready to work.* Work directly with Team Members to ensure all needs are met in a timely manner.* Maintain proper food handling procedures and ensure sanitation of work areas, complying with food handling requirements.* Work closely with Team Members to ensure safety and sanitation protocols are followed according to company standards* Collect bus tubs and dirty dishes from both FOH and BOH areas.* Ensure a steady supply of clean dishes, glassware, and utensils for cooks, servers, and bartenders.* Re-stock areas for easy access by other staff members.* Provide support to cooks as needed, including occasional station assignments.* Communicate with fellow Team Members and Management to stay informed and ensure smooth operations.* Maintain clean and organized work areas, including sweeping and mopping when necessary.* Assist with overall kitchen cleanliness, including taking out trash.* Complete running and end-of-shift side work, ensuring work areas are stocked and ready for the next Dishwasher.* Notify Management immediately of any potential problems or issues.Requirements and Qualifications* Support other Back of House functions as needed, ensuring that all areas of the restaurant run smoothly is a shared responsibility among the Team.* Communicate positively with other Team Members and Management to ensure smooth operations.* Provide exceptional service and maintain a positive attitude throughout the entire shift.* Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.* Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment.* Must be at least 18 years of age at the age of hire unless otherwise required by state law.PHYSICAL DEMANDSDishwashers are expected to be able to perform the job functions with reasonable accommodation. Physical demands include:* Remain standing for extended periods of time* Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, and lifting, up to 40 lbs., for short distances* Ability to work with hot water for most of the shift, and in work areas that have an elevated air temperature.* Ability to work with varying noise levels* Frequent communication with Managers and Team Members. Front Desk Agent Compensation Amount: 16.00 USD Hourly Job Summary The Front Desk Agent must have the ability to perform all desk attendant functions including checking guests and vendors in and out, reservations, and switchboard. Must have strong customer services skills. Job Description Essential Functions • Provide administrative, reception and program support to management and staff. • Manage phone activity including providing general knowledge to callers. • Manage walk-in traffic. Sign in customers as needed. Smile and greet customers in a welcoming manner. • Register and assign rooms to guests. • Provide quotes for room rates and up-sell the guest when possible. • Assist in coordinating the Front Desk and the Housekeeping Department. • Verify that the correct charges and credits are posted to the corresponding guest folio. Collect payment for charges on the guest folio. • Ensure all cash and cash equivalents are accounted for and balanced at the beginning and end of each work shift. • Responds to guest inquiries. • Resolves guest complaints within scope of authority, otherwise refer the matter to the management. • Maintain awareness of safety issues, and report them immediately to your manager. Skill and Knowledge Requirements Include • High School Diploma preferred. Minimum of at least 16 years of age. • Clerical skills including typing, filing, office machine operations, cash register operation, maintenance of records, and the ability to undertake multiple tasks simultaneously. • Computer proficiency. • Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people; ability to effectively organize and coordinate multiple priorities; ability to learn and develop new skills; ability to problem solve. • Ability to arrange and coordinate schedules for reservations. • Excellent interpersonal, administrative, telephone and other communications skills. Physical and Mental Requirements • Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the unit. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment. • Lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 25 lbs. regularly, 30-35 lbs. frequently, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally. • Ability to stand for the entire work day and to climb steps regularly. • Ability to sit at a desk and monitor phones for extended amounts of time. • Ability to withstand temperatures in indoor and outdoor environments. • Reading and writing work-related documents in English. • Speech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of customers and co-workers and the ability to speak clearly so that you can be understood by customers and co-workers in English. • Constantly communicates and receives verbal communication with other employees in a fast-paced environment. • Physical presence at the job site is essential to perform job duties. Non-CDL Shuttle Driver As a member of VPNE's growing transportation division, the role of the Non-CDL Shuttle Driver is to safely transport employees and customers from parking facilities to their designated areas.
