Safety Coordinator A Safety Coordinator for Irby Construction Company (Legend Foundation Services) should possess a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the Safety and/or Training field and a minimum of two (2) years of continuous Powerline Foundation Installation/constructionand maintenance experience. What You'll Do • Measures Field Managements work to ensure that it is being performed safely according to specifications. • Adheres to all Company Safety policies while in the course of conducting Company business. • Observe employees at work and document both positive and constructive feedback on safety behavior using company forms and check sheets. • Compile crew observation forms, vehicle and equipment forms and submit documents to project supervision and the corporate safety department at required intervals. • Ensure inspection on equipment, tools, vehicles, working conditions and procedures are being performed for the safety of employees engaged in the construction and maintenance of overhead and underground power and telecommunication systems. • Inspect climbing equipment, fall protection equipment, rigging practices, rigging equipment, personal protective equipment, rubber, and plastic insulating equipment. • Removes from service any defective equipment, or equipment not meeting safety requirements. • Use as a guide all appropriate federal, state and company manuals to determine regulatory and policy compliance. • Inspect facilities, vehicles, and equipment to ensure the presence of required firefighting equipment, first aid supplies required safety equipment and placards, signs, warning labels and current inspection labels. • Coordinate with customer representatives, insurance carrier loss consultants and federal or state agencies to perform site inspections. • When safety policy noncompliance or unsafe behavior is observed, correct issues and report to Superintendent or Project Management. • Coordinate with project supervision to develop a project safety committee and act as the facilitator on that committee. • Coordinate with project supervision to schedule weekly project safety meeting, daily job briefing, and tailgate safety meeting as needed. • Work in conjunction with project safety committee to investigate safety violations, accidents and near miss incidents, determine root cause of accidents, and coordinate with project and senior management to develop corrective and/or preventative measures. • Performs job hazard analysis to determine site specific hazards and coordinate with all levels of project supervision to eliminate, guard, and protect employees, customers, and the general public from recognized hazards. • Follow all policies and procedures. What You'll Bring • At least 3 years of Safety Leadership preferred • COSS and OSHA 30 required • Experience in Drilled Tier Froundation preferred • Bilingual in Spanish a requirement • May be required to relocate as work requirements demand. • Adheres to all Company Safety and Health Policies • May work in storm restoration operations to rebuild and/or repair damaged power systems. • May attend training classes or seminars to gather knowledge of new processes, safety regulations and/or refresher training. • Works with limited supervision. • Lifting and handling materials up to 60 pounds unassisted. • Walking and working across uneven terrain. • Climbing on and off large trucks and equipment. • Exposure to hot and cold weather conditions. Senior Environmental Permitting & Compliance Specialist Summit Midstream is seeking a Senior Environmental Permitting & Compliance Specialist to manage multi-media environmental programs across our operating footprint in Colorado, North Dakota, New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma. This role blends strategic agency permitting, with hands-on operational support for gathering pipelines, compressor stations, and natural gas processing plants. The primary technical focus is navigating Colorado's complex air regulatory framework while driving multi-state compliance across air, water, andwaste programs. Principal Duties & Responsibilities • Colorado Air Permitting: Lead the development and submittal of complex air permit applications (Construction, Title V, Synthetic Minor) via CDPHE APCD systems. • Multi-State Air Compliance: Interpret and implement compliance programs for evolving state and federal rules (NSPS OOOO/a/b/c, EG OOOOc, MACT, Title V) across assets in CO, ND, NM, TX, and OK. • Emissions Modeling & Reporting: Oversee facility operating data collection and run technical emission models. Compile and submit APENs, Title V certifications, state midstream reports, and GHG Reporting Program (GHGRP) submittals. • Methane & GHG Management: Manage LDAR and Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) programs. Maintain compliance with CDPHE Regulation 7 (Part B, Section VII) Midstream Fuel Combustion Equipment (MFCE) requirements and coordinate emission reduction strategies. • Testing & Field Audits: Schedule and manage stack testing and engine emissions sampling. Oversee site multi-media audits to ensure compliance with air permits, SPCC plans, and Clean Water Act standards. • Water, Waste, & Operational Integration: • Spill Response & SPCC: Direct response protocols, agency notifications, and remediation for releases. Perform mandatory facility inspections and update SPCC plans and SWPPP permits. • Regulatory Liaison: Serve as the primary representative during state/federal inspections, audits, environmental justice inquiries, and compliance investigations. • Operations & HSE Training: Partner with field operations and engineering to review draft permits for operational feasibility. Develop and deliver compliance training to field personnel to ensure seamless recordkeeping. Qualifications & Requirements • Education: B.S. or B.A. in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical degree. • Experience: 8 to 10 years (minimum of 5+ years) of progressive environmental compliance experience in the oil and gas sector (midstream gathering and processing preferred). • Technical Skills: Proven expertise in CDPHE air permitting and regulations (Reg 7, APENs). Direct experience with federal Clean Air Act programs, SPCC, and SWPPP compliance. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced modeling) and Environmental Management System software (Intelex ACTS preferred). • Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate technical permitting strategies to executive leadership and coach field operations personnel. Physical Demands & Working Conditions • Work Environment: 70% Office-based (Houston, TX), 30% Field-based travel (primarily to Colorado facility and pipeline locations). Summit has a 2-days from home, 3-days in the office hybrid work policy. • Field Requirements: Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather, navigate uneven terrain/steep grades, stand/walk for extended periods, and perform light to moderate physical labor as required during audits and inspections. • Schedule: Occasional night, weekend, or holiday work required during operational emergencies or regulatory deadlines.
