Position Overview As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic standards of our restaurants. This role involves routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and proactive solutions to keep our facilities in top condition. Key Responsibilities • General Maintenance & Repairs • Perform tile work, including replacement and repair of damaged tiles. • Address drywall and FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Panels) issues, including patching, repairing, and installing. • Unclog, repair, and maintain drain lines and plumbing systems. • Replace and repair ceilings, ceiling tiles, and grid systems as needed. • Conduct lighting maintenance, including bulb and ballast replacement, and troubleshoot electrical issues. • Repair or replace electrical outlets, switches, and wiring. • Preventative Maintenance • Perform minor carpentry, painting, and sealing to prevent structural deterioration. • Maintain equipment such as door hardware, hinges, and locks. • Inspect and maintain restaurant seating, booths, and other furnishings. • Safety & Compliance • Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and company standards. • Document and report potential safety hazards or violations. • Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime. • Collaboration & Communication • Work closely with restaurant management to prioritize maintenance needs. • Coordinate with vendors or contractors for specialized repairs when necessary. • Provide regular updates on maintenance progress and completion. Qualifications • Proven experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field. • Proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair work. • Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks. • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between locations. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments Preferred Skills • Experience in the restaurant or retail industry. The materials control tech ensures that all materials and equipment are received, completing all appropriate processing, and inventory, stocking, order pulling and delivery duties are completed in a timely manner.Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED, preferred.Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: None.Work Experience: Minimum 1 year, preferred.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and other applicable software. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal that present clear and concise information. Basic math skills for converting quantities.Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Performs regular inventories of supplies stocked on replenishment carts, enters information into handheld terminal, downloads information into the Cart Inventory Management System and, transfers orders. Enters receipt of incoming supplies into the carousel operating system. Places supplies in the system assigned stocking locations; places bulk supplies in designated storage areas and, applies charge code stickers to supplies when appropriate. Notify Supervisor and Buyer immediately of any discrepancies to any PO delivered. Make notes on PR to insure proper documentation.
