Sr Director, Supply Chain The Senior Director, Supply Chain serves as the senior supply chain leader for the Component Services business, responsible for developing and executing strategies that optimize inventory, enhance customer service, improve operational performance, and support profitable growth. This role provides leadership and oversight of supply chain activities across the business network and serves as the primary liaison between the Component Services organization and centralized Supply Chain function. This role has full accountability for end-to-end supply chain performance across the Component Services network. Working closely with Operations, Sales, Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain leadership, the Director ensures alignment between business objectives and supply chain capabilities while driving continuous improvement across planning, inventory, logistics, supplier performance, and fulfillment processes. What you will be responsible for: • Strategic Leadership: Lead transformational initiatives focused on network optimization, digital enablement, productivity improvement, and supply chain resiliency. • Develop and execute a multi-year supply chain strategy that positions the business for sustained growth, scalability, and competitive differentiation. • Serve as a key member of the Component Services leadership team, advising on supply chain risks, opportunities, and capabilities. • Align business unit priorities with enterprise supply chain initiatives and best practices. • Planning & Inventory Management Drive inventory optimization efforts to balance customer service, availability, and working capital objectives • Lead demand, supply, and inventory planning processes across the Component Services network. • Drive processes to align commercial objectives, operational capabilities, and financial outcomes. • Network & Supplier Performance: Provide oversight of network-wide supply chain performance, including planning, logistics, distribution, and fulfillment activities. • Partner with centralized Procurement teams to improve supplier performance, mitigate risks, and support sourcing strategies. • Lead response and recovery efforts related to supply disruptions, capacity constraints, and customer service challenges. • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement initiatives that improve forecast accuracy, inventory management, service levels, and overall supply chain efficiency. • Leverage data and performance metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement. • Promote standardization, collaboration, and best practices across the network. • Leadership & Collaboration: Champion a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization. • Build strong cross-functional partnerships across Operations, Sales, Finance, Engineering, and centralized Supply Chain teams in a matrixed organization. • Provide leadership, coaching, and succession planning for a high-performing ACS supply chain organization, developing future leaders and building organizational capability. • Influence business strategy and drive decision-making through collaboration with executive leadership and key stakeholders. What you will need to be successful in this role: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field. 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain, operations, logistics, planning, procurement, or related disciplines. Demonstrated success leading supply chain initiatives in a multi-site manufacturing, distribution, or service environment. Strong knowledge of inventory management, forecasting, S&OP, logistics, supplier management, and supply chain analytics. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders in a matrix organization. Ability to travel up to 30%, more during onboarding. Environmental Consultant Merjent, Inc. (Merjent) is seeking an Environmental Consultant in Texas. In this full-time position, the Environmental Consultant will support environmental permitting, regulatory compliance, and environmental review for energy infrastructure projects, with aprimary focus on Texas and opportunities to support projects in other regions where Merjent's clients operate. This role will support a variety of projects, including natural gas, electric transmission, and other energy-related developments, by coordinating permit acquisitions, conducting environmental analyses, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Preference will be given to candidates located in Texas, particularly within a one-hour drive of Houston, to support client coordination, agency engagement, field activities, and project needs throughout the state. This is a full-time benefits eligible opportunity that can be based remotely in Texas. The anticipated annual salary for this position is between $79,400 and $136,500 annually, depending upon qualifications and experience. This position is also bonus eligible. Responsibilities • Manage projects and tasks associated with environmental review, permitting, and compliance services for clients in the energy sector (natural gas pipelines and/or electric transmission lines and associated facilities). • Support projects that involve analysis of the environmental impacts of proposed energy projects, including analyses to support development of project-specific applications and permit approvals. • Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies regarding permitting and compliance requirements. • Potential to conduct biological field surveys and associated internal and external reporting. • Potential to conduct stormwater inspections and necessary reporting. • Supporting administrative functions as needed, including document production and technical editing of large, detailed documents. • Work with internal project and task managers and external clients in a manner that is consistent with Merjent's reputation for excellence. Qualifications and Experience • B.A. or B.S. in environmental science or environmental studies, environmental engineering, water resources, geology, biology, natural resources, or a closely related field. • 3-5 years of environmental permitting experience, with preference for work completed in the energy industry. • 3-5 years of experience or familiarity with permitting processes through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, State Historic Preservation Offices, or other federal, state, or local regulatory agencies. • 1-2 years of experience or familiarity with project management and/or deputy project management preferred. • Strong initiative-taker with excellent organizational, problem-solving, and task management skills. • Ability to adapt quickly and work well under pressure, both in large teams and one-on-one. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze, organize, and interpret data from multiple sources and translate that information into direct, easy to understand written deliverables. • Willing to travel domestically as needed (5-50%), including for field work. Candidates located in Texas or within driving distance of Houston, Texas are preferred. Field work may be required depending on background and/or interest.
