Responsibilities • Ensures quality and safe delivery of services to patients. • Uses equipment and supplies safely, effectively, and efficiently. • Packages, processes, and ships pharmacy products per policy • Maintains cold chain shipping containers and ice packs daily • Constructs cold chain shipping containers as needed • Consistently utilizes a holistic approach considering physical, psych/social, spiritual, educational, safety and related criteria appropriate to the age of patients served in assigned service area. • Receives, issues, stores and distributes all equipment, supplies or other materials with accurately completed documentation of the transaction. • Maintains a detailed audit trail of all transactions involving equipment, supplies or other materials that has been received, delivered or disposed. • Transports and delivers supplies, equipment or other materials in accordance with compliance, accreditation and regulatory guidelines. • Assists with providing proper and secure storage for all supplies, equipment or other materials. • Utilizes aseptic technique when handling sterile supplies. • Maintains appropriate levels of supplies, equipment or other materials. • Answer the telephone, screen and route all incoming telephone calls to the appropriate person or take messages according to office policy and procedure. • Greet clients providing courteous, caring and professional assistance. • Communicates effectively and in a positive manner with internal and external customers. • Creates positive working relationships with patients, physicians, and other IHHC staff. • Maintain regular and consistent attendance at work. • Behave in a manner consistent with Mission, Vision, Values and Expectations for Excellence. • Maintain compliance with OSHA, Accreditation Standards and Risk Management guidelines. • Maintain compliance with Personnel policies and procedures. • Behave in a manner consistent with all Corporate Compliance policies and procedures. • Perform other duties as requested by Pharmacy Manager to facilitate the smooth and effective operations of the office. Qualifications Education: • High School or Vocational School graduate or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience: • Previous customer service and/or healthcare setting experience. Licensure/Certifications: • Valid licensed driver with automobile insurance in accordance with state and/or organizational requirements. • Maintenance of an acceptable motor vehicle record (i.e. no "OWI" convictions in last 7 years or no more than 3 moving violations in last 3 years) • Valid Mandatory Reporter course completion by state(s) requirement • Registered with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy as pharmacy support person #UPaHomeNursing

The Customer Service/Warehouse Associate will need someone responsible for providing a variety of support such as servicing walk-in customers, completing sales transactions in conjunction with material handling duties such as receiving, loading/unloading material, pulling/assembling customers orders, and inventory checks. Primary Objective Performs a variety of customer service/office administration and warehouse duties related to the operation of the Sales Service Center. Primary Function and Scope • Performs various customer service duties such as: waiting on customers, assisting customers in determining order requirements, answering customer inquiries, providing samples, providing direction/selection assistance, completing sales transactions, and accepting payments. • Addresses and resolves customer complaints (returns and order errors). • Performs various office administration duties such as processing payments and receipts, reconciliation of DSRs and cash box, preparation of bank deposits, balance petty cash box, preparing various performance reports, updating customer master file and creating vendor orders. • Performs various product order duties such as entering customer orders, creating plant/RDC orders, and completing stock replenishment orders. • Waits on customers and prepares sales slips. • Produces daily sales reports. • Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pulling/assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor products, maintaining displays (tools, caulk, etc.), moving, storing, and replenishing material, and conduct daily cycle counts. • Performs receiving duties such as receiving and unloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments, stocking material, processing customer returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims. • Operates crane forklift equipment. • Maintains clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom cleaning and general office maintenance, etc. • Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to Management. • Performs other related duties as required. Warehouse Associate Responsible for receiving and processing incoming products, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders and managing stock within assigned department.
