Responsibilities • Support Army logistics materiel management programs through supply management, inventory analysis, warehousing, and strategic initiatives. • Conduct research and analysis to evaluate materiel management operations, inventory performance, supply chain effectiveness, and emerging issues. • Collect, consolidate, validate, and analyze information from multiple data sources to support executive decision making and program recommendations. • Develop executive-ready briefings, reports, decision papers, presentations, and other written communications supporting Army logistics materiel management initiatives. • Support planning, coordination, and continuous improvement of warehousing, secondary item management, inventory control, and supply management processes. • Coordinate activities and recommendations across multiple Army organizations and stakeholders to support enterprise materiel management objectives. • Monitor project activities, milestones, deliverables, inventory trends, and action items to ensure timely execution. • Facilitate meetings, working groups, and collaborative planning sessions while documenting decisions and tracking follow-up actions. • Synthesize complex operational and analytical information into actionable recommendations that improve supply chain performance, materiel readiness, and organizational effectiveness. • Develop performance metrics, dashboards, and analytical products to support leadership visibility and informed decision making. • Support strategic planning, inventory assessments, supply chain analysis, and enterprise modernization initiatives, as required. • Support business development activities, including market research, proposal support, solution development, and client engagement, as required. • Perform additional consulting, analytical, and project support activities as assigned. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Public Administration, Management, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related discipline. • 10 or more years of professional experience supporting Army logistics, materiel management, warehousing, supply management, DoD, or other complex Government organizations. • Experience supporting inventory management, supply chain operations, warehousing, logistics analysis, or organizational assessments. • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using spreadsheets, databases, reporting tools, and collaboration platforms. • Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple sources into concise, actionable recommendations. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing executive-level briefings, reports, and presentations. • Demonstrated ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and work effectively within cross-functional teams. • Self-directed, detail oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in dynamic environments. • Available for occasional travel. • This position requires an active Secret security clearance. DESIRED SKILLS • Advanced degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Public Administration, Management, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related discipline. • 10+ years of experience supporting Army logistics materiel management, warehousing, supply management, or other DoD organizations. • Experience supporting headquarters-level supply operations, inventory management, secondary item management, logistics planning, or enterprise integration. • Experience writing, updating and coordinating strategic-level policy. • Experience developing dashboards, performance metrics, executive reporting, or data visualization products. • Familiarity with business process improvement, workflow modernization, automation, or digital transformation initiatives. • Experience facilitating cross-functional working groups and stakeholder engagements. • Excellent research, writing, briefing, and staff coordination skills.

Customer Experience Analyst The Customer Experience Analyst is exposed to various aspects of U.S. Steel's overall business and will manage a specific group of customer accounts to achieve major business objectives. This is a remote commuter position, and you will have the ability to work remote while also being able to commute to our Automotive Center in Troy, MI for training, development, and collaboration, as needed. Responsibilities: • Manages orders through the Oracle EBS order entry system while ensuring order specifications, sizes, pricing, and any other production or shipment information is compared to and validated against the customer purchase orders. • Maintains customer forecasts and is measured on accuracy • Communicates regularly with customers, producing facilities, technical personnel, and Marketing on various issues including order entry, production, pricing, etc. • Follows the production of orders to ensure on-time delivery to the customer. • Releases material and ensures delivery based on requirements from the customer. • Manages inventories, and specifically aged inventories, as well as shipments to meet customer supply requirements. • Collaborates with the Regional Sales Manager to maintain favorable customer relationships and obtain specific market information for business forecasting. • Performs root cause analysis for inventory variance to ensure all exception issues are being addressed with corrective action. • Participates in projects to deliver initiatives with a focus on efficiency improvements. • Provides outstanding service experience for the customer. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, supply chain management, or a closely related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience • A minimum of two years of related experience in customer experience or closely related function • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills • Excellent planning and organization skills • Excellent attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel • Able to adapt to and master web-based support applications • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a matrix environment • Related experience in steel, metals, or closely related industry preferred Preferred Skills: • Ability to use problem solving techniques to identify and enhance customer value drivers • Demonstrates effective project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks • Identifies and develops opportunities for projects across multiple supply chain disciplines. • Work Environment/Physical Requirements: • Commuter remote structure. • Ability to travel 25% of the time. • Capability to constantly operate a computer. • Must be able to remain stationary 50% of the time.

You will inform victims of the resources available to report instances of sexual assault related retaliation, reprisal, ostracism, maltreatment, sexual harassment, or to request a transfer.
