General Purpose Get ready to hit the road with Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages as we search for a Driver Merchandiser to join our vibrant team! Whenever you see one of our shiny red trucks rolling down the road, you know that we are delivering happiness to a consumer somewhere! Our drivers are heroes of the road, familiar faces and brand ambassadors, ready to deliver our products for consumers to enjoy. And what's great is that our drivers work within their communities and have local routes. If you're ready to take on the responsibility of transporting and replenishing the shelves with some of the most sought-after beverages in the market, this role could be for you! Duties and Responsibilities • Check accuracy and stability of the load • Deliver, merchandise, display, and rotate products according to company standards • Communicate with other company employees, customers and shoppers • Settle all accounts daily by invoicing and collecting payments • Pick up company property and secure company assets • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures Qualifications • Valid Class-A Commercial Drivers License issued by only one state or jurisdiction with NO INTERSTATE RESTRICTIONS, in accordance with FMCSA guidelines minimum age requirement is 21 years old • Clean Driving Record • Be physically qualified to drive a CMV in accordance with DOT Physical Qualifications and Examinations • Able to successfully complete a drivers road test and certification or be able to provide an equivalent valid certificate in accordance with DOT regulations • Must have the ability to repetitively lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds, reach above head height, stand, walk, kneel, bend and reach • Minimum 1-year of general work experience • Ability to work with minimal supervision Preferred Experience • Local delivery experience preferred and/or 6-months of verifiable driving experience • Driver applicants with a current Commercial Driver's License, but less than 6 months of experience will be required to complete a paid driver training program • Prior grocery store and/or consumer products experience a plus Applicants with disabilities may be entitled to reasonable accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act and certain Texas or local laws.
