Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Perform manual tasks as directed by the supervisor, such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials. • Assist in setting up and cleaning up job sites or work areas. • Operate basic tools and equipment safely and efficiently. • Follow safety guidelines and procedures to create a safe working environment. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas. • Support skilled workers in more complex tasks, providing assistance as required. • Execute tasks with attention to detail and quality standards. • Report any safety or maintenance issues to the supervisor immediately. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalen. • Proven experience as a general laborer or in a similar role for 1 to 2 years. • Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. • Knowledge of safe work practices and handling materials safely. • Basic understanding of tools and equipment used in general labor tasks. • Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Good communication skills and a positive attitude. • Punctual and reliable with dependable transportation • Experience using hand and power tools • Experience working in a team-based production environment. This Foreman will be responsible for the safe and efficient operations of a bridge crew. The Foreman will plan, direct and coordinate the bridge crew to ensure safety, quality and productivity metrics are achieved. This role is classified as safety sensitive.
