Customer Service Trainee Candidates must reside in Michigan within a reasonable commuting distance of our Farmington Hills, MI office for team meetings, collaborative sessions, and training. Training will be hybrid. Typical Assignments In a developing and learning capacity, the Trainee will perform the following typical assignments: • Researches inquiries by accessing the claims processing system and other informational sources • Responds to customer/group and provider questions through telephone contact and/or written communication (such as mail) using proper etiquette, grammar, punctuation, etc. • Maintains related departmental records and files • Operates office equipment which may include a personal computer, calculator, copier, fax machine, etc. • Makes corrections to claims and eligibility • Enters new claims, eligibility and subscriber information into the mainframe • Reviews subscriber's coverage to determine type and level of benefits Minimum Requirements • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent • One year of customer service experience in a business environment that requires the use of a computer program to assist the customer, preferably in a call center, and/or dental experience • Successful completion of the customer service simulation test (minimum score of 62 out of a possible 100) (assessment waived if candidate previously passed test while at Delta Dental or if previously held Customer Service Trainee, Customer Service Advisor or Customer Service Associate position) • Employees bidding the first shift must have the ability to begin work 8:25 a.m. or work until 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday • Employees bidding the second shift must have the ability to begin work at 11:00 a.m. or work until 12:00 Midnight, Monday through Friday The company will provide equal employment and advancement opportunity within the context of its unique business environment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, national origin, familial status, citizenship, genetic information, disability, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, pregnancy, height, weight, military status, or any other status protected under federal, state, or local law or ordinance.

Using spreadsheets, email, and phone communication, the Case Manager collects insurance and personal injury policy information, as well as signed liens, for underwriting review. When attorneys have not responded to requests, the Case Manager follows up by phone to obtain the required documentation. This role also supports administrative operations by entering new client referrals into the electronic health record (EHR), coordinating with internal departments, and providing appointment updates to referring attorneys through referral portals. Duties and Responsibilities: • Monitor multiple spreadsheets to track incoming attorney referrals for clients in applicable states. • Send initial emails requesting insurance information, personal injury policy coverage details, and signed liens from attorneys. • Follow up with attorneys by phone when requested information has not been received. • Enter new client referrals into the electronic health record (EHR) so the front desk can schedule appointments. • Submit completed documentation to the underwriting team for review. • Notify the underwriting service when attorneys request medical records or billing. • Update referral source portals with appointment statuses and other case-related information. • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of all assigned referrals. • Manage a high volume of referrals while meeting established turnaround times. Job Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree of Healthcare related field • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. • Atleast 5 years of experience as a Case Manager • Atleast 5 years behavioral Health Space • Handled a US based client. • Amenableto work in Eastwood, Libis Quezon City during onboarding period.
