Overview Responsible for distributing banks to internal guests of internal departments as well as dropping these banks with accuracy. Protects company assets issued to them while dealing with guests, in an efficient and courteous manner. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Must be at least 18 years of age. • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required. • Six Months of previous work experience in guest services or casinos operations required. • Cage Cashier experience preferred. • Required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and obtain and maintain a gaming license issued from the Osage Nation. • Required to maintain a valid Driver's License. • Required to provide documents to show the applicant is eligible to work in the United States. • Osage, Native American, and Veteran preference shall apply to all positions at Osage Casinos. • Applicants must be able to perform all essential functions of job duties with or without reasonable accommodation. DEPARTMENT OPERATIONS: • Requires knowledge, skills, and experience in accurately handling various forms of cash transactions. • Ten-key skills required. • Must have the ability to balance a high volume of currency on a consistent basis. • Counts and balances funds in Main/Chip Bank with outgoing banker at start of shift; verifies totals in vault balance sheet against monies on hand. Balances all recorded transactions in the vault balance sheet and verifies totals against monies on hand at the end of the shift. • Receives and verifies currency, coin and chip, jackpot fill slips, drops; prepares fills and calls security to deliver monies to departments/tables concerned; records fill transactions in the vault balance sheet. • Prepares daily cash deposit. Receives and verifies drops. • Maintains and is held accountable for all funds entrusted to him/her on an assigned shift. • Issues and accepts transfers of coins, chips, etc. to and from the coin/mini-coin vault, window and vault bank; prepares necessary paperwork to document transfers. • Prepares and releases impress funds to cashiers and revenue centers. Participates in the maintenance of supporting cash receipts documentation and accumulation of information for daily and monthly journal entries. • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned. GUEST SERVICE: • Provides excellent internal and external guest services, treating internal and external guests with courtesy and consideration at all times. • Cooperates and communicates with all fellow employees, always exhibiting mutual respect and consistently projecting a positive, helpful image/attitude.
