Duties You will coordinate closely with Ship's force with respect to test readiness and support of shipboard testing. You will report conditions and status of testing to the senior Shipyard managers. We are looking for dependable, hard-working individuals to join our client's assembly team. This position involves assembling products, working with hand tools, and performing physically demanding tasks throughout the shift. Client will train motivated candidates who enjoy hands-on work, are mechanically inclined and have a strong work ethic. This position is Monday - Thursday 5am-3pm with some OT required on Friday's Pay starts at $17.00 per hour and candidates just out of high school with vo-tech training will be considered Responsibilities • Assemble products and components according to specifications. • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively. • Follow work instructions and quality standards. • Lift, move, and position materials throughout the production process. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. • Meet production and attendance expectations. • Work overtime on Fridays as required. Additional Information • Some felony backgrounds may be considered. • Training provided for the right candidates. • Great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on assembly work and are looking to develop their manufacturing skills. Requirements Qualifications • Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required. • Willingness to learn and be trained. • Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance (approximately the weight of a bag of concrete). • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform physical work throughout the shift. • Reliable transportation and strong attendance record. • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
