Drywall Applicator Apprentice (Registered Apprenticeship Program) Starting Pay: $13.50/hour Year 2 Pay: $14.50/hour Completion Pay: $15.50/hour Full-Time | Registered U.S. Department of Labor Apprenticeship Read Before Applying This position is not for everyone. We are looking for individuals who want to build a long-term career in the drywall and commercial construction industry. This apprenticeship requires extensive travel and physically demanding work. Applicants who are looking for a local, home-every-night position should not apply. Our crews work on commercial construction projects throughout Texas and surrounding states. Travel Requirements • Must be willing to travel extensively. • Projects may require staying out of town for several days, multiple weeks, or longer at a time. • Hotel living and extended periods away from home are a normal part of this position. • Travel schedules vary based on project needs and cannot always be predicted far in advance. • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required. What You'll Learn As a Registered Drywall Applicator Apprentice, you will receive hands-on training and classroom instruction while working alongside experienced professionals. Training includes: • Drywall installation • Metal stud framing • Acoustical ceiling installation • Commercial construction practices • Blueprint reading • Layout and measurement • Jobsite safety • Material handling and staging • Tool usage and maintenance • Finishing and repair techniques • Professional jobsite conduct Physical Requirements This is physically demanding construction work. Applicants must be capable of: • Lifting and carrying 50+ pounds regularly • Standing for extended periods • Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and climbing • Working overhead with tools and materials • Working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions • Performing repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday Minimum Qualifications • Be at least 18 years old • Possess a High School Diploma or GED • Have a valid driver's license • Pass a drug screening • Pass a background check • Be legally authorized to work in the United States • Be dependable and maintain regular attendance • Be willing to travel wherever projects require Apprenticeship Program Details • Registered with the U.S. Department of Labor • Two-year apprenticeship program • 4,000 hours of on-the-job training • 290 hours of related instruction • Progressive wage increases based on successful completion of training milestones • One-on-one training with experienced journeymen Compensation • First Period (0–2,000 Hours): $13.50/hour • Second Period (2,000–4,000 Hours): $14.50/hour • Completion Rate: $15.50/hour Overtime opportunities may be available depending on project schedules and workload. Engineering Technician I

Job Description Perform field and/or laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials (e.g. soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel). Communicate with project manager, engineering technicians, client representative, contractor's representative and others as applicable regarding the construction site, project requirements, and testing, observation, and inspection requirements and results. Transport material samples with associated identifying documentation to the laboratory for further testing and analysis. Tabulate, prepare, and submit data and observation in the form of written and digital reports as work is performed for daily transmittal to the Terracon Project Manager. Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles and work areas. May assist with scheduling and dispatch of Technicians to project sites. Adhere to strict safety standards. Responsibilities • Under close supervision of higher level technicians or staff professionals, assist on tasks and perform basic testing and observations duties. • Provides clear documentation of findings and results. • Communicates information to Project Manager and discusses accuracy of data in preparation for submittal. • Submits documentation and communicates results as directed by the Project Manager • Will be placed in a progressively increased role of training and responsibility in work assignments. • Maintains assigned equipment. • Drive a vehicle such as a Ford F-150 or equivalent. • Follow safety rules and practices and other safety requirements for all projects. Perform pre-task planning prior to executing work. Report any safety issues or concerns to management. • Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent • 6 months experience required. • Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history. Preferred Certification: • Obtain Nuclear Density Gauge certification within 6 months of hire. Required Certification: • Obtain ACI certification within 90 days of hire. • Successful completion of related internal safety certifications.
