Deliver Driver/Shipping And Receiving Associate SafeTech USA is actively seeking a Deliver Driver/Shipping and Receiving Associate for our facility located in Carrollton, TX. This position requires an individual who is detail oriented with a strong work ethic. The successful candidate will not only be responsible for driving to customers 3 days a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) and assisting with shipping and receiving duties, or other tasks as assigned. Duties And Responsibilities: • Responsible for all aspects of the logistics department, including driving to customer sites, shipping and receiving. • Work with management personnel to resolve any transportation issues or concerns. • Pack and unpack items properly to mitigate the possibility of damage. • Ship packages both domestically and internationally. • Obtain all required documentation for international shipments and ensure package is properly secured and labeled. • Complete required documentation for shipping Hazardous Materials. • Properly classify Hazmat items and ensure IATA documentation is present. • Safely package, secure and label items. • Verify items shipped and received against Customer Repair Orders (RO) and Company Purchase Orders (PO) information. • Perform tasks in accordance with, quality and regulatory requirements. Adhere to security and safety policies. • Basic to intermediate computer skills specifically using Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn additional computer skills and software programs. • Ability to enter data accurately into databases. • Ability to use general office equipment such as fax, phone, copier, scanner, printers, etc. • Must be self-motivated. • Good eyesight and color vision, manual dexterity, and the ability to carry out complex, repetitive tasks quickly. • Must be able to lift 75-100lbs. • High school diploma or a general education degree (GED). • Minimum of 1 year experience working in shipping and receiving position. • Hazmat Certification preferred. • Ability to pass a drug and background screening. • US citizen or resident status. • Valid US driver's license. They are responsible for accurate inventory tracking and record keeping, warehouse inventory cycle counting, and optimizing inventory utilization. They are also responsible for assignments delegated by the Operations Team Leader and Operations Manager, which are not limited to the following essential responsibilities. Duties and Responsibilities • Receives, prepares, ships, schedules, and ensures timely deliveries of inventory and loaner products prior-to and post-surgery. • Maintains credentials required for entering accounts. • Coordinates delivery and pick up routes with Operation Specialist III to determine the most efficient route. • Sets up the products for the customer after delivery. • Uploads delivery images of the product to SMS (tracking platform) • Maintains up-to-date product knowledge and inventory management software systems. Product knowledge includes product status, new product information, and inventory availability. • Retains knowledge of policies relative to distributor inventory, consignment inventories, debits, regular accounts, product complaints, order tracking, shipping, loan equipment, invoicing, and others. • Research, source, assemble, and document data regarding issues and follow up until transaction is completed to satisfaction. • Keeps company vehicle maintenance and registration up to date. (Ex: oil changes, fuel, cleanliness of the vehicle, etc.) • Maintains a strict adherence to privacy expectations for customers (HIPAA), employees, and the company. This might mean maintaining specific certifications. • Learning time with background 3 months; without background, up to 6 months. Areas of Competence • Ability to read maps and follow directions. • Maintains an excellent driving record and the ability to navigate in/out of hospitals. • Ability to handle multiple daily telephone calls, texts, and emails in a positive and proficient manner. • Ability to build effective relationships. • Demonstrates critical and creative thinking, especially when resolving problems, as well as the ability to demonstrate ownership and accountability. • Self-motivated and capable of exceeding in a team environment. • Possesses exceptional organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage time and to multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment. • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft 365, and the willingness to learn new software. Requirements • Education / Experience • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred. • 2-4 years of related experience preferred. • Previous knowledge of surgical implementation/implants preferred. • Must have the ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs. • Must be willing to work flexible hours, as needed, including weekend(s) and evening(s). • May be required to have a personal vehicle that meets company standards. • Medicare accreditation status requires its employees in close physical contact with patients (Direct Care) to maintain certain immunizations, health screenings and related trainings, criminal and motor vehicle records, and valid automobile insurance.
