Join Our Caring Community The Medical Assistant is the first contact for patient care. Responsible for administrative tasks in addition to patient care. The Medical Assistant performs advanced administrative, operational, customer support responsibilities that require independent initiative and judgment. The Medical Assistant performs clinical tasks such as discussing symptoms and obtaining vital signs. The Medical Assistant also administers medications and vaccines, performs phlebotomy, and collects specimens. Additionally, the Medical Assistant performs diagnostic screening tests, sterilizes and cleans equipment, and maintains examination rooms. Furthermore, the Medical Assistant documents information into the electronic medical records system. Collaborate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers. Deliver direct patient care dependent on what active certification allows. Decisions typically focus on methods and processes for completing administrative tasks/projects. Additionally, they interpret and adapt procedures, processes, and techniques. With previous experience and a broad, knowledge of administrative processes and organizational knowledge. The Medical Assistant has advanced knowledge, contributes to process improvement, delivers in-depth training, and provides advanced guidance/mentoring to other Medical Assistants. Use Your Skills to Make an Impact Required: • Certified or Registered • Phlebotomy experience • Medication/vaccine administration experience • 1+ years MA experience • High school diploma or equivalent • CPR Certified • This role is considered patient facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB Preferred: • 1+ years MA experience in PCO center • Value Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish - must pass proficiency exam prior to foreign language communication Additional Information: This role is considered patient-facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle from Bright's fleet, which may include: a commercial van, 24-foot box truck, 22-foot box truck, and more, depending on the location. You will also contribute to the Installation Team: loading, unloading, setting up, and striking our equipment. A Driver must abide by all rules and regulations of the road, including Bright's Standard Operating Procedures and safety protocols. Job Responsibilities: • Ensuring the safe operation of Bright's vehicles per state laws and company policies • Complete assigned delivery and pick up routes in a safe, timely manner. • Communicate with Dispatch regarding any challenges or delays. • Carefully and safely unload and load the vehicle with the Installation Team • Assist in the set-up of events: placing tables, chairs, flooring, lighting, tenting, dishware, and custom-made pieces as directed. • May be subject to transferring product between locations at discretion. • Accurately complete all required vehicle inspections through a fleet management software program Qualifications for Drivers: • Must have a valid state Driver's License (Commercial Driver's License is not required) • Comfortable utilizing fleet management software for vehicle inspections • Being bilingual in Spanish is highly valued. • Great communication skills with Bright Team Members and customers • A clean driving record and background is required to operate Bright's vehicles; experience driving delivery vehicles is preferred. • Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. Driver The responsibilities include but are not limited to being responsible for collecting customer information regardless of media type. Additionally, this position, while operating company vehicles, will use the utmost care and discretion by adhering to federal and state transportation laws and any related company policies. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb/balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must be able to reach, handle, carry, and lift between 10 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. While performing job duties, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, read, and identify numbers for accurate order filling and receiving of material.
