The Medical Assistant performs advanced administrative, operational, customer support responsibilities that require independent initiative and judgment. The Medical Assistant performs clinical tasks such as discussing symptoms and obtaining vital signs. The Medical Assistant also administers medications and vaccines, performs phlebotomy, and collects specimens. Additionally, the Medical Assistant performs diagnostic screening tests, sterilizes and cleans equipment, and maintains examination rooms. Additionally, they interpret and adapt procedures, processes, and techniques. With previous experience and a broad, knowledge of administrative processes and organizational knowledge. The Medical Assistant has advanced knowledge, contributes to process improvement, delivers in-depth training, and provides advanced guidance/mentoring to other Medical Assistants. Warehouse Associate SHIFT: Monday - Friday 7AM- 3:30PM or Monday - Friday 9AM - 5:30PM JOB FUNCTION: The Warehouse Associate will perform a variety of routine shipping, receiving, and housekeeping tasks. This role also requires basic computer proficiency and experience using tablets on the warehouse floor for inventory management, order processing, and related tasks. JOB DUTIES • Shipping • Prepare orders for shipment in accordance with the pull ticket and customer requirements. • Check inventory to verify availability of needed stock. • Notify Supervisor of shortages. • Package and ship product in accordance with packaging guidelines and accepted method/practices • Maintain product stock in work area • Stock shelves • Monitor packaging material supplies and notify supervisor when materials to the restocking point. • Use tablets for order processing, inventory checks, and recording shipping activities. • Receiving • Receive and unload incoming material and compare information on packing slips with purchase orders to verify accuracy of shipment. • Sort, count, package, label, and unpack inventory that is received. • Responsible for accurately receiving, reporting, and distributing purchased items. • Stocking warehouse shelves. • May be required to operate tow motor. • Use tablets to log incoming shipments in the ERP system. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: • Effective communication/comprehension skills verbal and written • Math Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure. • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with tablets and warehouse management software • Physical requirements ability to bend, twist, stoop, reach, climb ladders, lift materials up to 50lbs. Pick, prepare and package required quantity of material for proper shipment. • Operation of Voice Directed Picking Equipment. • Operate power vehicles such as a forklift, reach truck and order picker to a height of 24 feet. • Safely operate and / or work in the vicinity of many types of equipment, such as forklifts, reach trucks, pick trucks, propane powered lifts, battery changing equipment, electric carousels, conveyor lines, heavy duty pneumatic staple guns, compactors, dock levelers, etc. without risk to self or other employees. • Communicate effectively with others within and outside the work group. • Ability to work overtime when needed. • Excellent attendance and punctuality. • Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Knowledge You Should Bring • PIV experience such as Forklift, Reach Truck, or Order Picker. • Previous warehouse experience. • Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting tools. • Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 75 pounds. • Must maintain a clean work area. • Meet quality standards and implement continuous improvement measures. • Cross train on other jobs as required.
