Knows their responsibility in a contingency plan or crisis situation. Must be able to work the shift pattern as outlined by distribution needs.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMay include, but are not limited to, the following:Inbound Freight:* Count all products, compare to manifest and check all shipments for damage, infestation and production code dates* Report shortages, damages and mis-shipments on appropriate forms* Sign for inbound shipments when necessary* If assigned, and you are a qualified forklift driver, unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locationsStorage: Maximize space usage and safely put away items onto racksOrder Picking:* Ensure correct number and type of product is picked* Transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment* Stencil, tag or mark orders as requiredOutbound Freight:* Compare quantity, labeling and address with order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct* Accept signatures for outbound as necessary* Efficiently move product into outbound delivery vehiclesFacility/Equipment:* Maintain equipment and assigned areas in a neat, clean and orderly fashion* Operate equipment safely and efficiently* Comply with all local, OSHA or Expeditors' standardsInventory:* Keep accurate records and reports. Assist in physical inventories and cycle counts* Ensure proper stock rotationOther Duties: Repack or re-box cases per instructions. Repair and re-box damaged goods as required. Operate shrink-wrap machine if assigned.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS* Preferred high school degree* 6 months of distribution and warehousing experience or comparable experience - RF technologies a plus* Must be able to read, count accurately, do simple math (add, subtract, divide, multiply) and write legibly. Must be able to pass a basic math pre-employment test.* Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods.* Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects* Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods* Strong work ethic, attention to detail and positive attitude* Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionPHYSICAL DEMANDSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Job Description Teledyne Micropac is a seeking an experienced assembler and machine operator who has the ability to perform a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical or measurement product assembly operations on product components, assemblies or sub-assemblies. What you'll do The essential functions and key responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to: • Follow production drawings, procedures and work instructions in detail, understands and applies established workmanship practices for all facets of satellites, medical, defense/aerospace and high reliability industrial applications • Ensure that quality checks are completed throughout the manufacturing process. • Operate and set up Manual Wire Bonding equipment to perform thermosonic gold wire and aluminum wire bonding. • Strong problem-solving abilities. • Ability to work collaboratively with other teammates, quality control and process engineers to ensure product meets strict specifications. • Attentiveness to details and adherence to safety and cleanliness protocols are essential. • Assist with training as required. • Perform production assembler duties as determined by Supervisor. • Delicate hand assembly of electronics devices using solder, epoxy, and wire bonding techniques specifically under the microscopes. • Inspect completed work to quality requirements. What you need • Possess excellent manual dexterity, manufacturing knowledge. Experience with small parts, small hand tools, equipment, and microscope - required • Ability to read and work from engineer drawings, work instructions and bills of material to understand the required parts and steps needed to complete the assigned assembly - required • Possess a solid, quality minded work ethic and a strong attention to detail with a strong desire for precision and accuracy when executing job duties. - required • Knowledge of Foreign Object Debris (FOD control.) - required • High School Diploma and basic computer skills are a necessity - required • A minimum of 2- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing assembly, production environment, or cleanroom experience is essential - required • If overtime is necessary, reasonable efforts will be made to provide employees with adequate advance notice, however, sometimes overtime may be mandatory.
