Grocery Associate - Seasonal $20.00 per hour - Grocery Associate - Seasonal The Grocery/Warehouse Stocker Associate provides materials, merchandise, and supplies as needed for store functionality. The ideal candidate must promote a clean, friendly and in-stock work environment. Seasonal Hires will work May 1st - September 8th The essential job functions include, but are not limited to: • Execute duties as assigned by Manager, Assistant Manager, or Team Lead • Replenish shelf and floor inventories to full conditions daily • Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations • Maintaining clean supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations • Execute inventory product rotation • Receive product in accordance with Company delivery protocol • Update labels with price and UPC on backroom and store stock • Perform other duties as required and/or assigned • Work on the store's busiest days including most weekends and holidays as needed • Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed • Maintain regular and prompt attendance • Employee must be able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation The position requirements include, but are not limited to: • High school diploma or equivalent preferred • Previous warehouse experience preferred • Work on the store's busiest days including most weekends and holidays as needed • Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed • Maintain regular and prompt attendance Joining our team puts you on a path where opportunity for advancement is available. Move pallets from palletizers and relocate materials and all other requested tasks. Essential Job Duties: Unloads trucks, examines incoming goods and signs for incoming goods, noting any discrepancies. Reviews bills of lading to determine what is to be shipped. Stages products and supplies before trucks arrive, including restacking damaged or partial pallets as needed. Loads trucks with forklift and by hand if needed. Cleans and organizes the warehouse in an efficient manner. Communicates with shipping personnel, shift supervisors, regarding problems, product information, etc. Understands and performs proper pallet tag, lot number recording procedures. Able to work in a fast paced environment in a safe manner GMP & PPE Required While on the production floor in the plant you will be required to follow and help to enforce all GMP regulations in the plant. Anyone entering the production floor must follow the GMP rules in their employee handbook, which includes the required hairnets, beard nets, and earplugs. It is also required that all personnel wear safety glasses. Follows standard operating procedures including quality checks and procedures for all operations. Meets food safety and quality objectives and the requirements of the SQF System. Non-Essential Job Duties: Performs related work as assigned by the Manager.
