Linde Gas & Equipment Inc.Local Delivery Driver (CDL A)Des Moines, IA, United States | req29876What you will enjoy doing** You will deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, while touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service* Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up* You are expected to complete hazardous material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT regulations* Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections* Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance* You will build both relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet goals and objectives of the business and customer needs* You will continuously build your knowledge on how Linde's business operates and succeeds to help organization to continue growing, plus other duties as assignedWhat makes you great* You have a high school diploma or GED, along with proficiency in reading and writing in English* You will have two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School, along with a valid Class A CDL* This role requires you to be 21 years or older* You currently have a hazmat endorsement on your CDL or must obtain one within 60 days of hire* You are expected to not have any preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two (2) years* No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten (10) years* You must be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate* You have the ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds is requiredWhy you will love working with usLinde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2025 sales of $34 billion.
