Driver Warehouse Associate The Driver serves as the representative of Baker Distributing, crucial to both our operations and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will be tasked with the safe and efficient delivery of products to our esteemed customers, all while upholding exceptional customer service and professionalism. The Driver Warehouse Associate role involves daily delivering and transporting HVAC goods and materials from our established wholesale HVAC distributorships to customers, vendors, or other Sales Center locations. This role also includes maintaining and operating the warehouse in between deliveries. Essential Duties/Accountabilities • Represent Baker Distributing Company as a leader in the industry. • Daily loading and unloading of products in truck for delivery to customers and/or other Sales Centers. • Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to Sales Center Manager. • Assist in the Warehouse with inventory counts, picking and verifying orders. • Responsible for daily checklist of truck maintenance and reporting in/out times with merchandise returns. • Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures. • Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. • Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately to management. • Participate in regular safety training sessions and drills. • Ensure proper handling and storage of all products to prevent accidents and injuries. • Follow all guidelines for the safe operation of the truck and other warehouse equipment. • Maintain a clean and organized truck and workspace to prevent accidents and injuries. • Ensure all loading and unloading activities are conducted safely, using proper techniques and equipment. • Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications • High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent experience may be considered. • Minimum 1-year truck driving experience. • Box Truck delivery experience • A valid Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certificate is required prior to employment. • The role requires the ability to meet DOT physical qualification standards, with reasonable accommodations. • CDL license is highly desirable. • Warehouse experience, including driving a forklift/appliance lift, is a plus. • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service, problem-solving, and relationship-building. • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; reasonable accommodations will be provided as needed. • Demonstrated interest in continuous learning, mentoring, and leadership. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools; assistive technologies may be used to support this function. • Excellent customer service mindset with the ability to develop long term relationships. • A valid driver's license is required only if driving is an essential function of the role. What Nuclear Manufacturing contributes to Cardinal Health Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment. Nuclear Manufacturing is responsible for the manufacturing of time sensitive radiopharmaceuticals in an integrity driven, highly regulated environment (i.e. FDA, NRC, DOT) to support patient treatment through disease diagnosis, staging, and monitoring. Schedule : • 40 Hours per week • Sunday night/Monday morning - Friday. Rotating Shifts. Must be flexible to work all hours below: • 11:00pm - 7:30am • 8:00pm - 4:30am • 2:00am - 10:30am • Candidate must be flexible to work different shifts, schedules, holidays, days and overtime as needed. Responsibilities • Successfully complete extensive training, including e-learning assignments and hands on components, to demonstrate and maintain proficiency • Manufactures radioactive isotopes (includes synthesis set up, hot cell manipulations, distribution) • Conducts quality control testing of each batch (utilizing gas chromatograph, dose calibrator, multi-channel analyzer, TLC plate scanner, high pressure liquid chromatograph, analytical balance, PTS, laminar flow hood and fume hood) • Works in ISO 7 cleanroom to make product vials and customer vials for use in drug production • Performs environmental and personnel monitoring in ISO 5, ISO 7, and ISO 8 environments • Coordinates daily production run schedule based on customer and pharmacy needs • Demonstrates strong documentation practices, oral communication, and writing skills. Performs clerical and administrative tasks, including maintenance of daily production records, report preparation and maintenance records • Manages SAP Inventory (includes receiving materials, properly inspecting materials for use, and maintaining proper cycle counts) • Performs daily radiation safety tasks, along with general lab cleaning Qualifications • High school diploma, GED or equivalent or equivalent work experience, preferred. Education in Sciences (Chemistry, Biology etc. preferred). • 0-1 years of experience preferred • Lab experience highly preferred • Must be able to work overnight shift (Facility operates at night.) • Prior experience in manufacturing, preferably in a controlled environment and/or regulated industry desired. • Effective written and verbal English communication skills • Able to repeatedly follow detailed processing instructions • Ability to manage several tasks at the same time; Ability to evaluate operating conditions and exercise sound judgment and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds • Ability to see fine particulate and differentiate colors in liquid solutions. • Ability to hear, write (English), and speak (English) clearly in order to communicate in manufacturing setting. • Manual dexterity required for equipment operation and occasional reach and lifting of small objects. • Ability to be an effective team member.
