Insure that inventory entries and adjustments are reflected accurately in the warehouse management system. Key Accountabilities • Maintain inventory records. • Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties. • Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system as necessary. • Follow procedures to accurately adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product. • Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records. The employee must be able to climb in and out of equipment, couple and uncouple trailers, and perform inspections that involve bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, and walking on uneven surfaces. The role requires the ability to lift and move items up to approximately 50 pounds occasionally and to work in tight spaces around docks and trailers.Work EnvironmentThe Yard Driver primarily works outdoors in a busy transportation yard or terminal environment and is regularly exposed to moving vehicles, heavy equipment, varying weather conditions, noise, dust, and diesel fumes. The position requires working around loading docks, trailers, and warehouse operations and may involve day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts based on business needs.CompensationFor this position, the expected base pay range is $24 hourly.
